Setting up your first aquarium can be an exciting adventure, and a 10 gallon fish tank kit is a great aquarium way to begin. An aquarium kit contains the basic essentials needed to provide your fish a home. When selecting an aquarium kit, note which products are included to determine additional accessories needed. The 10 gallon aquarium kits at Petco generally include the tank, filtration and filters and trial sized food and water conditioner.
The standard 10 gallon tank is 20 L x 11 W x 13 H inches.
Refer to the directions that come with your kit for set up. But, generally you will need to clean and assemble the tank, furnish your tank with the appropriate equipment and decorate according to your preferences. Allow approximately 48 hours for the aquarium to stabilize prior to adding your fish to their new home.

I am getting a beta fish and my sibling is getting glow fish. Do you have any suggestions as to a 10 gallon fish tank we can purchase with two separate compartments and an opaque divider? Thanks
I have 2 glo fish what kind of tank should I get?
Hello! I have a 3-gallon tank at home that I previously used for my betta fish. Now I am looking to purchase another fish (possibly a few fish) but I am not quite sure what my options are. What types of fish would you suggest for a 3-gallon tank and how many of each kind I could get. Also if I do end up getting a betta, are there any other aquatic animals I could place with him or not? Thanks for your time and help, Tori
Going to be bringing a few guppies home, probably all females for simplicity sake. We have the 10 gallon tank, master test kit, heater, filter, some Omega One guppy food, and the proper decorations. But I would like to know any tips on how to safely bring them home in my car. (We still have to cycle the tank, so no rush.) We will be getting them from an actual pet store, definitely no Walmart or Meijer fish as those tend to be much less healthy.
I am a beginner and I was planning on getting purchasing a 20 gallon tank. I wanted a Tang, a Clownfish, a Chromis a some guppies, would the size tank be to small?
What are the dimensions of tanks in the $1 per Gallon Sale?
What is the best sizes tank to get for 3to4 bubble eye goldfish? I haven’t brought them yet.
We have four cardinal tetras, three glo danios, three glo tetras and a albino Cory cat. They are all the type to only get an inch to two inches long and so we have them in a twenty gallon tank. Have gravel and silk/plastic/resin/and live plant/decor and proper filter/heater/air. Also have changed filter once a month, siphoned 25% water/debris out every two weeks using water conditioner but don't know why we have murky water and how to remedy this...
