Is Kaytee Fiesta Ferret food an okay ferret food? Also what are some other cheap ferret foods?
My Conure today has had watery stools a few times. He started having watery stools a couple hours after bathing and having blueberries. I recently started giving him fruits because I haven’t had him that long and just got him use to eating them. I also recently changed his diet from Kaytee Forti Pro health to Lafeber’s parrot food since just yesterday. He is use to eating the Kaytee food since that is what the pet store fed him. Could that be why his stools are watery?
I have a 4 month old Black capped conure. I noticed this morning when I first took him out of his cage he had more watery stool then usual. Colors looked normal. It’s a dark green color with white. He is on a seed diet it’s called Kaytee Forti Diet Pro Health. Is this a good diet to feed him? Also is it ok that his stool was a little watery? Thank you
Hi! I recently got a little baby parakeet. So far, she’s been doing very well; it’s been a little over a month. However, instead of eating all of her seed mixture, I think she just picks through & eats her favorites because there are a lot of remnants at the bottom of her cage that are uneaten. She eats kaytee Fiesta seed mix. Should I change it? Add something else? Or what what I incorporate in her diet to make sheets she’s getting what she needs? She’s tried apple so far.
I switched my guinea pigs to Kaytee Lavender bedding. They both have food, hay, and water. Two bowls of food, two bottles of water, and two hay containers. They both seem to be chewing on the bedding and I'm worried. Should this be a concern? I'm worried about their digestive system from chewing on the bedding. My girl friend said her guinea does it too when she's bored, could this be why they are chewing it? They share a cage.
I have a female Roborovski hamster, about 8-12 months old. Since about 4 months ago I started noticing blood on her bedding and toys & decided to check her underside. I noticed a large opening near her anus/genital area, pale pink in color (sometimes with large balls of feces stuck in the middle and blood around it.) She eats and drinks well, and lives in quality housing: Unscented Kaytee paper bedding, 450 sq in cage, 7 in flying saucer, fresh food/water, variety of toys. What should I do?
I have two baby rats, I was using Kaytee Natural Paper Bedding and wanted to switch them to a different bedding but couldn’t figure out which one would be a safer option to switch to. I did some reading and found that Pine was dangerous to rats because of the oils so I avoided it. Recently I spoke with a breeder who said Kiln dried pine is okay and isn’t dangerous to them because the oils are all dried up but people in a rat group on Facebook have expressed concern. Is it okay to use Pine?
Hi. I had just got a hamster. She was very active when I has bought her. But the next day she started sneezing quite a lot. When I checked the bedding, I found out that it was citrus scented and so I changed it immediately to KAYTEE CLEAN AND COZY. Her sneezing has reduced but it's still there. She doesn't go on her hamster wheel anymore. She just comes out of her hideout to take food and water. She also sleeps in the night. She is a Syrian. Do you know why she is like this? I'd she sick?

Hello, I have a female budgie named sweety.she is pregnant.what would be the source of calcium for her? Other than cuttlefish bone.....
My cockatiel seems to be sleeping a lot. She is still a baby (probably around 11 weeks old), and was fed on pellets and millet. I'm not home for 5-8 hours a day, so I don't really see her eat or drink, save for when I've seen her eat millet a few times. She isn't any less social, and prefers to spend her time on my shoulder, even when sleeping, so she hasn't gotten aggressive or fearful.
