I agree it does have extra silicone inside and out but this tank is great for the purpose.

I bought this tank to upgrade my beta fish to a bigger home cause it was on sale. I set up the take everything was working fine I swapped him to it last night he was loving his new home. I woke up this morning check on him and sadly he died. He got wrapped around the filter tube the suction was to powerful.

For this tank, it was a great price being that if was half off but it came without a part of the filter.

My beta is so happy! This is a great tank... perfect size, easy set-up, and comes with everything you need (except a heater and bubbler, which I recommend). The filter is quiet and the lights are a nice soft white. Love it!

I've had this tank for over two months and I'm very satisfied with it. Granted I only have one betta in there, it stays pretty clean. I would recommend.

I purchased 4 tanks and these are the worse tanks I have ever seen. Three out of the 4 tanks had cracks in the glass and all 4 are so cheaply made with extra silicone all over the inside and outside of the tank. Not worth $80
