Garbage Tank!
Bought this tank and the pump failed after a week. Brought it back. The new tank's pump did not work right out of the box. Garbage product.

Pump/filter making noise and not working
I bought this less than a year ago and have really liked the tank. Unfortunately, when I clean the tank and change the water the pump/filter does not work. It does not pump water and makes an extremely loud noise that I need to unplug it immediately. I’ve cleaned the pump and it is free of any particles. Is there a replacement pump? I wish I would have looked into the pump situation before purchasing.

Pump
Pump stop working, first time cleaning the tank and when I connected the pump wasn’t working, just making noise, I don’t recommend this tank

Easy set up/ water flow adjustment needed
We got this for our betta fish per associate recommendation at petco. It was easy to set up but after a few weeks I noticed our betta having fin damage and struggling to eat his food because the current from the filter pushed the food too quickly and it went to the bottom. After trial and error, I noticed that you can slow down the speed of the filter/water by adjusting the arm that goes to the filter. Our Betta is much happier and can get his good now.

After 8 yrs its still running
Ive had this 5 gallon for over 8 years. Its housed betta, frogs as a terrarium, plant and fish isolation tank. The acrylic is scratched , the top of filter is caked with calcium, and its out of place near my aquascapes. But man its still running.

Pump noise and issue
I purchased this tank for my kids and had a problem with the pump making loud noise and then it stopped working. I removed the pump and took off the long tube and a pin fell out, I then removed the base that the tube sits in and took out the spindle, then I used a needle nose pliers and stuck the pin back into its hole that is located on the bottom of where the spindle sits then I replaced the spindle and put it back together and never had the issue again. You’re Welcome!!
