Hi found this on my dogs arm kind of where he lays. Not sure but looks like a big scab.

What is this? How do I treat it? The dog’s skin is bright pink. Where all the gray spots are feel hard with matted fur and underneath this is irritated skin. It is only on the interior of one leg and in the under arm of that leg.

Please help!!!!! I have a small dog who has mange. I don't know which type, but I tried to soak him with Borax and Peroxide daily. It doesn't seem to doing anything, except making him throw up. He does have hair loss, itching, places under arm pits and his belly that has black thick spots. I have not seen or been around mange to understand what the difference between the two types. I need help because I don't want to lose him to this life condition. I am on a very tight fixed income.

Hello, we recently got 2 four week old German Shepherd puppies who were vaccinated at the 4 weeks of age (I believe it was the detemper and parvo, 6 way? By the people who gave us them) and so far they’re doing well but I’m concerned if this might cause something in the future. What do I do? What are the risks?

my 8 month old parakeet seems to be ill. she always sits at her perch. only moves when she has to eat. She is not eating as much as she used to. Sometimes she holds her wings away from her body. Hi for the past 7 days I’ve been transitioning tony to a kidney diet with the help of 1/8 mirtazapine appetite stimulant every 48 hours. Today on day 7, I was told to try 100% kidney food (none of his senior diet mixed in) and he’s acting picky with it, not cleaning his bowl like he has the past 6 days with his old senior diet and kidney food mixed. Even with the appetite stimulant should I expect it to be a longer transition period? thx!
