If you’re bold enough to keep a tarantula or other large spider as a pet, bringing home a dinner of live crickets won’t phase you. But it takes more than food to keep a pet spider thriving. You’ll also need to make sure you choose the right terrarium—your pet may need room to move around—and a way to measure the humidity in their habitat. At Petco, our pet spider store has the solutions you need to create the ideal habitat for your eight-legged friend.

My dog might have eaten a spider that was killed by using insecticide. I am not sure if he did, maybe the spyder has mannaged to crawl away. But I am worried that he might have eaten it. It has been a day since this happened and my dog seems to be feeling fine. Should I be worried?

Is this a good setup for Nighthawk, the first photo is the over all setup, the second one is the side view and the third is the water and calcium dishes. I use an under tank heater that stays at about 88 degrees Fahrenheit and the vines are fake. He has a warm hide and a cold hide with moss in it that’s i spray down every other day. The little box is another little hide that I can see him in. And the background is tile it paper rolls that were painted(they were left to dry for two weeks)
Re: My Canary, Ringo. With Summer coming, and Mosquitoes, Flies, Spiders, etc., is there anything I can spray on Ringo, or his Cage, to keep these Insects away from Ringo? Will any of these insects harm him? Or, Kill him?
What are these...kinda scared they are snakes! Cleaning out my garage and found these in a corner in a pile of leaves (in the crack , stopping the door from going all the way down- not quite in the garage...had outside access) There were 3.. Didn't have a quarter for reference...hence the Chuckie Cheese token!

Hello, I I recently bought a juvenile chameleon who I believe may have mites/ticks. The chameleon eats 4 crickets 2 times a day her appetite has not changed and she drinks water from the leaves in which i mist 2 times a day. I recently noticed black spots on her skin especially under her neck as she was shedding. Idk if she has mites/ticks, Please help thank you.
So I have been thinking about getting a new caged animal, but am not sure what to get. I am hoping for a fairly easy animal to care for (AROUND the same "hardness level" as care for a Crested gecko), and one that doesn't need tons of (tank or cage) space. Also, I saw a Cowfish on a YouTube channel, and I thought they where cute, so I tried to find its care online, but I couldn't find anything. Nor could I find someone selling one.
