Temperature regulation systems are essential for most aquariums, as fish are cold blooded and need a consistent water temperature for their health and wellness. Alongside your aquarium heater or chiller, it’s important to use an aquarium thermometer to make sure the temperature is just right. If you have a large tank, you may need multiple smaller fish tank heaters at opposite ends of your setup. Doing this helps maintain a stable temperature throughout your habitat.
Yes. Some fish require specific water temperatures to live comfortably. So you’ll want to invest in a thermometer to ensure your tank is meeting their needs.
Depending on the species of the fish in your aquarium, you may need a heater to maintain a water temperature close to that of the natural habitat of your fish.
An aquarium chiller is designed to lower the temperature of your tank water. This may be needed when tank temperatures reach unsafe levels.

hello, i have a tropical fish and the heart didnt work for the tank how do i keep my fish warm its still in bag
My marine class are getting Silver Perch. We are putting them in this enclosure. What type of equipment will we need to keep them away from disease, pests, and also what filters and water temperature will we need to keep them alive. How do we breed them and what type of food is needed.
I just got this new baby axolotl but it was born in and kept in a higher temp at around 73°F until I got him about less than a week ago. The breeder I got him from said their 2 adults are perfectly healthy at 73°. The water he’s in now stands at about 70-73 and I was thinking about getting a chiller cuz they should be in colder but idk if this would actually be bad cuz he’s only ever lived in warmer? maybe he’s adapted and it’d be bad for him to live in cold? which is rly weird idk
how do I change the ammonia, nitrates in my aquiarium
Can I use anti ich and anti chlorine in turtle aquarium? I have 2 red eared sliders
i recently got a beta fish, he swam around all the time and now he just lays around. The only time he gets up is when i feed it and when i turn the lights on, i guess the lights just startle him. I looked online and what i read suggested that i get a tank heater, I wanted to ask before i buy. Do you have any recommendations?
Hello, I bought 3 fish (2 cichlids and 1 ray) and an aquarium (90 litres) yesterday. I prepared the aquarium and put the fish inside. However there is a power shortage at the moment. The temperature of the water is fine but what can I do to increase the oxygen level?
What watt under the tank heater will I need for a Kenyan sand boa? Will it prefer a heat lamp too? If so, what type of bulb?
How to do clean water which fill in aquarium if doesn't have water conditioner?
Hi! I plan to move my goldfish to a 45 gallon, and I’m curious about what kind of fish dan go with them. I currently have a zebra danio with them in the 20 gallon I am currently keeping them in, but I found out that zebra’s require a heater while goldfish do not. And even though I have kept them together for a long time, I don’t want the danio to suffer. Another dumb question but would separating them cause anything, like anxiety for the fish, or am I just being a bit paranoid.
