Brought this kit thinking it included the standard things a kit would but unfortunately it's just a tank and filter. Doesn't even come with a net. Definitely not worth the price. Save your time and money.

***SWITCH INSIDE TO SLOW DOWN STRENGTH OF FILTER****I ended up here because we bought this tank as well and our fish died. The filter is too strong. My husband went in to take the filter apart and found a switch to slow the filter down! Why this isn’t listed here is unbelievable. So many fish getting sucked up.

Do not buy!!!! This filter came with the tank I was recommended from petco. It killed my beta fish in less than a month, the poor guy got sucked up into the filter. This needs to be discontinued as there are many other reviews saying the same thing!

My son was accidentally messing around with the fish tank and drop the light piece into the water and of course ruin the light so we can no longer use that or the filter. I cannot find a replacement light or filter for this tank. Any suggestions?
I think I have the filter right, but it means having the cord in the water. Is this how it’s supposed to be? Is the filter cord meant to be in the water?

I just assembled this aquarium. The box says the LED lights have a “variety of settings” but I can’t find any instructions on how to change them anywhere. How do you change the light settings?
- I thought it was just off and on, or possible low, high and off. Just using the switch.

Why are you guys selling this when it has killed fish?
why are these filters being sold still. I am not the only one who's beta died because of it. Petco you should be ashamed.
Should I leave the filter and light plugged in and running 24/7?
- My girlfriend has 3 of these. She runs the filter all the time. She only shuts it off when she does a water change. She turns the lights off at night, to simulate a natural environment.
