Providing your fish with good water quality not only aids in relieving their stress, but also helps to prolong their life spans and promote their overall well-being. Water conditioners are necessary for the set up of both salt and freshwater aquariums as they help to make tap water safe for your fish and plants, while aquarium water pH correction products help to maintain a healthy balance of pH levels in your tank water. As an immediate solution for cloudy or murky water conditions, there are various aquarium cloudy water fix products available to keep your aquarium water crystal clear. As most aquarists know, there is no normal pH for all fish as various species of fish thrive under different pH levels. This is why there are aquarium water pH correction solutions that either increase or decrease the alkalinity and acidity levels of your tank water. Use a test kit to test your aquarium's water regularly and learn which water conditioners work best for your species of fish, as well as which aquarium cloudy water fix solutions will ensure a comfortable and stress-free environment for them.

Is there a thing such as adding too much water conditioner? I use reptisafe for my African dwarf frog.
When I add water conditioner, how long should I wait for to add my Betta back in?

Hello! I was wondering if you could help me out. The internet doesn’t help out to much and the bottle of the test strips doesn’t tell me the ideal amount some of these should be at. So if you could help me out here I would really appreciate it. And please tell me the amount it should be at and if it isn’t ideal how to improve it please and thank you. GH• (General Hardness) 30 KH• (Carbonate Hardness) 40 pH• 7.0/7.5 NO2• 0 NO3• 0 I am testing the tank for a betta if that makes it vary.
Hello! Things didn’t go so well with cichlids and I only have one remaining which I moved to a different tank. The 45 is now empty and the others besides one blue African cichlid has died. I did water tests and most came out fine except the Carbonate hardness which was at a 40. (That’s bad as far as I know if you could clarify that would be great) but I have a goldfish that would do great in there but I’m very attached and I don’t want anything to happen to him as well any idea of what I can do?
Hi, I have a marine fish tank with 4 fish, an anemone, and a couple of invertebrates. There's nothing wrong right now but I'm scared that I might have jeopardized the aquarium's safety during a maintenance routine. I was doing some aquascaping when I realized that I forgot to rinse my hand beforehand, which worries me because I had handled clorox wipes (benzyl ammonium chloride) roughly 30 minutes before touching the water. Are my fish going to be ok, and is there anything I can do right now?
Please help!! I have a 5 gallon fish tank starter kit. Water conditioner. Thermometer. And it has a filter. I have bought 3 gold fish all from Walmart. (I know bad idea) and all have died 1 first day. 2nd one the next day. And the third is dying currently :( they swim by the filter and float then have a hard time breathing it looks like and then die. My autistic 5 yr old is devistaed and I don't know what I could be doing wrong. I did research and research and more research!! Help:(
I have a pond in with my water dragon with a activated carbon filter. Is it safe for him to drink? I also used a water conditioner from petco. He is very lethargic and not eating.
hi I bought the imagitarium fresh water uv purified water for my betta,s. Is this good water for them and does it have the nutrients they need? thank you
I have recently used medication in my 50 gal freshwater fish tank with one 22 year old comet goldfish in it . the meds cured my fish but must have killed my beneficial Bacteria as now my established tank has been going through another nitrogen cycle. It's been four weeks now the ammonia us back to zero so is nitrite zero BUT my nitrates are now spiked about 80 and the water is cloudy. Did 2 partial water changes over the last 8 days. Will a UV sterilizer help ?? Please advise. Thanks Lina
I recently gave my fish a water change (halfway) for its 5 gal tank (relatively new tank). I made sure to treat it with conditioner and the tests came out ok. However my fish seems to be agitated and is swimming back and forth on one side of the tank. There’s no visible parasites. I haven’t fed him in two days because the ammonia levels were pretty bad (it’s normal now). Besides the frantic swimming though, he looks fine. Should I be worried?
