At Petco we offer raw cat food that pleases even the most discerning kitty palate. Opt for frozen food to buy in bulk and thaw or freeze dried food that has an extra long shelf life. Both fresh and frozen cat food can provide a nutrient-rich diet that aligns with your cat's carnivorous nature, promoting better digestion and overall well-being.
That depends on the type of raw food you choose, any other food your cat may graze on, and their size and age. Check the packaging for feeding recommendations. And if you’re still unsure, it’s never a bad idea to ask your veterinarian.
Right here at Petco! We have beef, chicken and salmon varieties in fresh, frozen or freeze dried raw food.
Make sure you follow instructions on the raw food’s packaging. It might tell you to thaw raw cat food in the fridge overnight, or to keep frozen until right before feeding, and warm with running water.
Raw cat food is meant to be frozen, or used within 2-3 days, in order to maintain the benefits of fresh food.

What kind of pet food do you recommend for a kitten
What kind of tipe of foof i should Feed My cât
We're thinking of trying raw cat food. Our cat has no significant health issues. What are the risks of salmonella? Is there a way to prevent it? Can cats get infected? I've heard it's a risk but also that cats don't get infected like humans do. Should we add raw eggs? Are raw egg whites safe? Are egg whites safe at all? I've heard eggs whites can harm cats but also that they're fine. Should we cook our eggs before feeding? How much raw food should we feed? Less than store-bought? More?

Should carbohydrates be limited in a cat’s diet? Does a cat’s health benefit most from dry, Frozen, raw, or freeze dried food?
How to change your cats food
Want to change my cats diet to better food. Been told to feed raw and have some recipes but not real sure if i want to feed uncooked meat. Had thought of steam cooking the meat instead of leaving it raw. Does steam cooking still leave all the good nutrients? Thank you.
