Hi, my name is Julia and I am a college student working on a device that will function as a smart collar for dogs. I know the market already has some of these but I was wondering what features do you think are the vital ones that need to be included in this device. We have a GPS tracker, hope to have a heartbeat sensor, and outside temperature thermometer. But what else do you think would be vital to have measured to have a comprehensive image of a dog's health? We would really appreciate it!

Hi , my lab 3/half y old , male , today had what I believe a seizure , it was painful to watch. i did consult with my vet and she told me it probably its epilepsy but status to follow after the blood analysis etc. Now the situation is that I keep my dog outside in the backyard , he doesnt live inside the house. My question is how can I check on him , If Im away at work or not being with him at all time , how can I check him if the problem persist again ? thanks

We used to leave our puppy at home for 4-5 hours at times and monitor him through a two way camera. he seems fine. He barks for a few mins & stops when he realizes we are not around & just sleeps or play. However last October after we left him with a sitter for about 10days for a holiday, one day we tried to leave him to do some errands & he was continuously barking, howling & whimpering. Even with toys, treats to find & water he just doesnt stop. We’re worried we can’t ever leave him alone.

Can you please tell me if it is ok to use a human glucose monitor on pets? If not, can you recommend a reliable glucose meter for cats?
