The divider doesn’t work. It let my fish cross over and fight. They squeezed through the sides. Now I wasted $40 on fish and $50 on tank. And I threw the receipt and box away

Super Disappointing.
I bought this a couple of months ago. The divider does not keep the two Bettas separate. They can squeeze between, so consequently one killed the other, so I decided to just remove the divider and keep one Betta, now the filter has gone out.

Short life, improper size, false advertisement
I purchased this in the middle of January and the finer seems to already be damaged and the water gets stinky and green every two/three days. It’s becoming more of a strain than a pleasure to keep these fish alive. Not mention, Petco’s employees should properly educate their customers because had I know their tanks should be 4 gallons minimum, my purchase would have been a more detailed one. This machine isn’t as simple as it states, I don’t recommend anyone that doesn’t know about fish to purchase this.

This tank will kill your fish one way or another.
Fish killer tank. The divider does NOT work. We had to take one beta back bc it kept going to the other side to fight. 1 week later the filter sucked our remaining beta up the tube and ripped it to shreds. My child went to feed her fish only to find it not in the tank. She opened the lid and immediately saw its fins and pieces of it in the filter pad instead. Absolute worst experience and completely avoidable.

Minimum tank size for 1 betta is 5 gallons. Why are you selling a tank that is half of that, for 2 bettas? And with an inappropriate divider since they will still be able to sense each other in the shared water?
- We had this tank for a little over 2 years and its been great but I had no idea it's made for 2 bettas! We want a 2nd betta but thought we would need a 2nd tank. We've been using the divider when we clean the tank to keep him safe but we pretend he's being disciplined and getting a time out lol. If we add a 2nd our current betta will definitely get the left side because he loves resting on the filter!

The filter stopped working after 6 weeks. It has slowed to a very slow trickle, even with checking for blockages. What kind of filter can I use in this tank? I don't want to call customer service, just let me know what filters are compatible. Thank you
- I had this tank for 2 years and we've been using generic filters, which we've had no issues. from your description I'd guess the issue is occurring before the filter. You already checked for blockages; I wouldn't think it has anything to do with the water level...our pump doesn't start until the water is high enough. Did you make sure the nozzle above the filter in pushed all the way down? I just pulled out the manual for ours and they refer to it as the "nozzle elbow." When it's all the way down it works as expected, or you can pull it up to stop the water flow and swivel it away from the tank, then push it back down to start the waterflow if you want to drain water into a bucket or similar. I just tried pulling ours up a little bit, and it slowed the waterflow. If i pull it all the way up the water stops Maybe yours isn't push all the way down and that could be making the water flow slowly? Good luck with it. Ours has been great.

Will this tank be ok for(4) newborn baby guppys that were just born sometime this morning 4-24-23.I am worried that the other fish I have in my small 6 gallon tank might want to eat mabey eat them or something.If you could give me some info on this would
- A better and cheaper solution would be to get breeding grass which provides a place to hide or balance a small fish net on rims of tank and place the babies inside the net. Hope this advice helps.

My daughter bought me a aqueon 2.5 gal, black one for a betta light went out, so i went to pet store, she said the light is irreplacable, i cant believe u would do that put a light in there and cant change fuse or what it imy betta is in the dark, HELP
- i found the problem, and the light works now, it was a fuse i have a electric plug between kitchen and living room, and as it turned out, it was the electrical plug, wasnt working, so i had to push a black button then push the red one, and it worked, so please feel free to delete, im glad i got it fixed, cause i loved this tank from the get go

Does Aqueon sell different color led lamps for the cover? I have a glofish betta would love to use a blue light lamp instead of white.
- No, only white LED come stock. For color changing LED's there are cheap $10.00 LED modules that are compatible with this aquarium that suction cup attaches next to the stock LED strip.
