Is Fancy Feast bad for cats or kittens? I've been feeding my Little Kitty Fancy Feast Classic & I need to know if I did a bad thing.
I feed my cat fancy feast, but she also has Iams dry food beside her that she only eats when she's really hungry. I have recently heard that Fancy Feast is extremely bad for cats, it causes kidney failure and all sorts of things and is one of the worst foods you can give your cat. Is this true?
Which is the best premium cat wet food out of Fancy Feast, Pro Plan and VIP Fussy Cat Grainfree+? Any other recommendations? TIA.
Sr. cat with stage 2 renal failure. She struggles with constipation, inadequate water drinking, arthritis, toothless, cataracts, and deafnesss. She is on Royal Canin kidney recipe as the most tolerable of choices to-date (really didn't care for Hill Science version). Have been mixing with fancy feast kitty or adult pate, laxative and Cosequin. Recently found Delectables bisques to add instead of fancy feast. She seems to like well & I can add water, upping her intake. Ash content concern.
Hello, my Kitty was born in 2000. She has been very healthy her whole life. I've just noticed a bald patch on her front neck/chest area (she has long hair). For the past month or so, I've been giving her fancy feast gourmet cat food 3 oz. a day, in addition to her regular diet, Purina Cat Chow, Indoor + immune health blend. I added the fancy feast treat, because She's lost weight, not sure how much. I don't know what to do for her, please help? Thank you, Danette
I uaed to give fancy feast to my cat but I heard it's not actually very healthy, so what are som good and not too expensive wet food brands?
Hi, i jist switched my kittens cat food. I used to eat daily delight wet food but i switched him to fancy feast as he didnt like daily delight but loved fancy feast and ate it almost instantly & loved it. Now i know, that switching foods instantly is terrible. But i just wanted it to eat something it enjoyed. He hasnt pooped yet but in case of a diarrhea, what should i give it? any home remedies? He is currently on benebac probiotic btw. Just want to be prepared. He on antibiotics fr cat cat flu
I recently adopted a 4 year old very obese cat. He had a very scary constipation episode. He is on lactulose and fancy feast right now. A fiber. Based diet was recommended. What brand would you recommend?
I feed my cat Fancy Feast, but I have recently heard that it is one of the worst foods you can feed to a cat. I've heard that it causes kidney failure and all sorts of things. Is this true?
Luna eats 1/2 cup of dry food daily (royal canin fibre). I want to start giving her wet food for dinner (fancy feast 85g can). She weighs 3.1kg so how much food should I feed her per day?
Hi! Tony eats an Rx kidney diet & lately he’s been tired of it & I’ve tried all the brands out there but If I add in some fancy feast he of course loves it & eats it. Since this isn’t ideal for kidneys (he’s not in kidney failure, more in the early stages) my vet said I could mix in some aluminum hydro powder phosphorus binder (less than 1/8 teaspoon) to the fancy feast. How do you feel about this & if he starts to refuse kidney food,is adding binder to a non kidney diet a good alternative?
Hi, my cat won't stop itching, and scratching, no fleas, and she is an indoor cat only, she was adopted about a year ago, and it's only gotten worse. She is double coated so it's hard to see her skin. Her ears, and where her tail meets her body on the back, are the itchiest areas for her. She is a manx or Siamese Lynx Point. Eats fancy feast wet, and fancy feast dry. She's been on sensitive foods in the past and they helped a little bit. The itchiness is driving her crazy.
