If I could give no stars I would, the filter killed my brothers fish not even 24 hours, he was very sad do not buy if u want a sad kid !

This setup is okay for a JUVENILE betta, i.e. a freshly purchased betta who is maybe only 4-8 months old and still quite small… and that’s IF you really don’t care about having a functioning filter once a couple of months have passed. To be honest the filter produces much too strong of a current for a betta, especially in such a small environment; that barely matters though, because it’s really just a race between this strong filter (which I’ll admit is a brilliant idea for water changes!) killing your fish, and for a variety of reasons, or the filter itself dying. I personally had the pleasure of experiencing BOTH within 2.5 months of use. Oh and the LED light failed at about 2 months, as well.

I purchased this tank about 6 months ago. The first one was broken in the box, had to drive all the way back to the store and exchange for another one. Then had 2 FISH die from the pump. The first got sucked in the intake and stuck. The other was wedged between the pump and the plastic 😔 don’t waste your money. I’m not out $45 AND the cost of 2 Bettas ($50)

Our betta fish got sucked to the filter killing it within 6 hours of placing it in the tank. Prepare your child that the new fish they saved their money for will not survive in this tank.

I️ returned this shortly after purchasing. The smart clean filter pump is a great idea for easy water changes. However given the size of this tank, The pump was much too powerful. The fishes were getting sucked towards it.
