I want to train my horse some basic tricks, for example, bobbing her head, bowing, kissing, hugging, small stuff like that and later on, maybe get higher on the tricks. But she has a temper, and I sometimes don't know where to start on my tricks plan plus she is young so i want to use her young age to make her learn more. I am a type 1 diabetic. I want to at least try to train Sophie, on my own, to be a diabetic alert dog. She shows great intelligence and I think it would be beneficial to both of us if she were a diabetic alert dog. Being a diabetic can be tough, especially when you get low. It can also be dangerous. I don’t have the money to take her to a trainer. So, what are some basic, beneficial, and good ways to begin training Sophie? I think starting her at at a young age would be best.
