I bought my aqueon betta bowl and wanted to clean out with pump on side. I have turned the arrow the correct way, and nothing is coming out at all, and the water is at the fill line. What am i doing wrong , or did I get a faulty pump
- You need to pour new clean water into the tank in order to make the old water start pouring out of the side pump.

How do you keep the temp up to 78 degrees for bettas if it hasn't any heater. My water temp. Is 62 degrees. That's to cold for betta don't you think. I have it in the warmest part of the house

The guide says to replace 25% of the water monthly, and a filter isn't mentioned. Even when utilizing a microbe-based water cleaner for bettas, this doesn't sound nearly enough to keep the water livable. Should a filter be added to this tank?
- For a filterless 1 gallon, I would do 25% water changes daily, not monthly. I personally have a 1g for my betta and have a small sponge filter and I still do 25% water changes 2-3 times a week.
