Griffon was a 4 yr old Scarlett chested parrot that suddenly passed away in the night. Findings by pathologist in a necropsy was renal gout.Excess protein or calcium can cause it. He and the cage mate are on Mazuri small bird diet and chop (veggies,grains, and Higgins vita seed mixed together). One cup of the seed is mixed with about 8 cups of veggies. Does this diet sound appropriate or is something adding in too much of the previous listed vitamins.

Hello, I was wondering what would be the best food for pet mice when they are fat. His current food is: Daily blend wild harvest, his previous food was: vita prima rat mouse and gerbil formula.

Hello, I have a pet hamster. I used to have two but unfortunately one have died recently, and from my understanding it died from bad nutrition, I used to feed it all vegetables. But I've been doing my research to make sure the other one stays healthy, I've lowered the vegetables and added some beans. Here is his diet Soy beans Lentil seed Oats Wheat seed Dry Dry macaroon A small cube of veggie 2-4 sunflower seeds His poop doesnt seem ok tho, its been like that for twodays. please advise me

Good day. I recent switch my graniverous birds from seeds to pellets sporophila angolensis. Since the switch 3 months ago my birds have really dropped in their singing. To me some even look a little depressed lol. Any advice. I will say though some have molted and since on pellets the molts are fast and they come out with great feather condition.

I have had two female degus for about 3 years now and haven't usually had any problems with what I'm feeding them, but due to a communication error I have ended up with sunflower seeds and budgie seeds (as shown in the photo) and was just wondering whether they are ok to feed to degus or if I should stay clear of them and get some different feed for them. Zuri can tolerate a dry food already without putting water or milk in. Based on her age, is it already ok for her or should we give jer wet food first?
