Whether your feathered friends live inside or outside, bird bowls and bird feeders from Petco can keep them fed and watered. Petco’s selection of bird bowls includes feeding bins that clip onto your indoor bird’s cage as well as innovative treat stations that will help stimulate your pet’s curiosity. Outdoor bird feeders come in a variety of sizes and designs and allow you to enjoy the sight of your neighborhood birds flocking to your feeder.
Bird feeders come in all shapes and sizes, but most are designed to clip onto the wireframe of a bird feeder cage. Read the instructions on your product carefully to determine how your feeder works.
Most birds prefer to eat their food high above the ground in order to stay safe from predators, such as the neighborhood outdoor cat. You can help your feathered friends feel more comfortable at your bird feeding station by placing it up high. Consider hanging your feeder 5- to 6-feet off the ground.
Of course, part of the joy of maintaining a bird house feeder is watching the neighborhood birds flock to your station. The height of the bird feeder pole should also give you a good view of the birdy action. If that means making the pole a little shorter or a little taller, that’s usually fine.
As much as you may enjoy watching all the beautiful birds in your neighborhood gather at your bird feeder or bird water feeder, they may make a mess. Birds have no problem chucking some seeds to the ground or dropping seed husks when they’re finished. The result can be a pile of discarded seeds, husks, water and bird droppings beneath your feeder. This pile can damage the landscaping of your yard or invite bacteria and mold growth and smell, especially if you have a large bird feeder.
You have several options to address the bird mess. First, you may want to consider moving your feeder to different spots in your yard every month to give the piles time to decompose naturally. If that’s too much work, consider hanging your bird house feeder above a concrete or wooden deck or patio. This will make it easy for you to clean the debris, either by sweeping it up with a broom or using an outdoor vacuum.
If your preferred option is to hang your bird feeder in the yard, you can also place seed trays, platforms or nets below your bird feeder to collect the leavings from your outdoor feathered guests. Just remember to clean out the trays or platforms regularly.

What kind of water fountain i can get for my cat?
Type of food they eat Type of water to use
I found him on a vacant lot and had to bottle feed him for about two weeks. He's now about 8 weeks old and already eating solids, but he hasn't learned to drink from a bowl. I tried using bowls of different sizes, put water on the ground, wet his lips, placed him next to a faucet, etc, but he still won't drink. By night, he's so thirsty that he'll suck at my fingers, I'll end up giving him the bottle. He has no issues eating food mixed with water, but how can I get him to drink from a bowl?
I got a Budgie recently and she’s been refusing to drink her water. I’ve been using a clean paintbrush dipped in water and she’ll lick at it but she won’t drink from her bowl.
We just brought home a gerbil and she doesn't seem to be drinking a lot of water. also we bought the little creature play house cage and it came with the whole set up. Her food sits on a tray but to get to it she must climb up a tube to get there yet she hasn't figured out how to climb up inside and threw it to get to the food which is her only way.so we had to leave it on her bedding but want her to learn to climb the tube for her food and since it's for hamsters she should too plz help us
She prefers to drink water from anywhere else but her own bowl even after cleaning and replacing it. Any advice? Thanks
I have a ring neck parrot it is only drinking a little water how can I make sure it drinks enough water
What id the nest bottom feeder for my betta fish -
I have 2 ferral cats that reside in my sunroom. They are both loveable. They used to drink purified or tape water now they only want rain or snow water, why?
My guinea pig drinks a lot of water during the day. I’d say I have 2 standard water bottles in their cage because I have Boog and Archie and recently Archie has been drinking much more. Boog worried me because he’d drink half of the bottle in a day and now Archie is sort of doing that. Can that be a problem?
Mostly what kind of foods Bird's like to eat much?
I got my Roborvoski hamster a day ago and I can't get him to drink from his bottle. I don't think it is too high or low, and I marked a line with a washable marker and it hasn't gone done. I also put a little peanut butter on the spout to encourage him but that didn't work either. My last hamster died after four days so I am really worried about him. His name is Mikey. Please help me!
