bettas require 5 gallons minimum, ideally 10 gallons. not suitable for a betta or any other fish, shrimps would be good though.

Got this tank for my son as a Christmas present. We are using it for a betta fish. It is a perfect size for that type of fish. The light is very bright and filter works well. Nice size tank to put against a wall.

Great small aquarium but shipped with scratches

This is a great small aquarium for a single betta or 2 guppies. The light it comes with is VERY bright and it's nice that it comes with a filter too. I like the half moon shape and I set it up on my kitchen counter against the wall. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because the tank has some scratches on it when I received it.

Nice betta fish tank comes with everything u need to basically get started just without the pebbles food stuff like that I am excited to eventually go pick out a betta fish and get it set up and watch it swim around

Is the water meant to flow out of the front of the filter? Mine is not.
- Hi, Yes, the water is designed to flow from the filter's output lip. If it is not, a few common issues may be the cause. We recommend checking the water level to ensure it reaches the intake of the filter. You can also try cleaning the impeller, which is the small fan that moves water. If the impeller or intake tube is obstructed, it can stop the water flow. Finally, the filter may need to be "primed" by adding some tank water manually to the filter's reservoir. Thanks.

What is the GPH of the included filter? Are there replacements available (for the filter itself)? What is the color temperature of the light?

Is the LED light sufficient to support a live plant in an otherwise darker room? Specifically a banana plant.
- Hi Bc1076, Good day! While this LED light is designed for aquariums that can support live plants, we always recommend natural sunlight, or a full spectrum grow light for the best plant health. I can't guarantee that a banana plant will thrive solely under this LED light, especially in an otherwise dark room, as banana plants typically require strong, consistent light to grow well. Thanks

What is the correct replacement filter cartridge for this Aquarium? All it states on the box is that it is a "M" cartridge. Any filter cartridge I find listed as "M" is to big. I can't find where Imagitarium even offers or makes an "M" filter cartridge.
