Bought this tank and set it up with the fresh start product and glofish water balance product. I bought testing strips and everything is in a normal range except a bit hard water. The fish keep dying over night. What can I do?? Tanks reading at 76..

- I think a bigger tank is better. Those cam get up to over 1 ft long and you want it to be comfortable

The wire for the led lights is touching the water - is this an issue or are the lights waterproof?
- Hi there! The wires shouldn't be touching the water. The lid has grooves where you fit them into. There are several grooves in a specific setting that the lights should be placed in for the wires to fit in. The pictures on the box should help with how you should set them. And as far as I know, the lights are definitely water resistant.

how many glofish can i put into the 10 gallon tank
- We have 6 Longfin Tetra's in our tank for more then a year .. we have this same tank but added an extra LED glow light

What makes this a Glofish tank? The back is clear and the led lights are standard white and blue. It's a good starter aquarium package but it seems to be a normal tank.
- It's because the the what you think are just plain blue and white led lights combine to create a blacklight effect but if you want to really kick it up a notch put a glofish background on the tank and you a glofish gravel. All these things are created to make your fish colors pop.

Can this be used for fish other than GloFish?
- Yes you don’t have to use glofish. Just make sure you turn the light off overnight so they can get a break.
