How can I help my dog with his arthritis

My 12 lb. Dog was prescribed Ritadyl for pain. She took it 12 hours ago and was crying out in pain, so I gave her another tablet. Did I harm her?

My dog had a back injury yesterday and is taking two kinds of pain medication. Today, she has gotten increasingly immobile. Of course she is on bed rest, but she was struggling to stand and could not carry her hind weight. Then she lost the ability to even sit up. Could this be an effect of pain medication?

About a month ago, our 15 year old dog experienced a traumatic event during the middle of the night (we think trying to jump off our bed) which made her arthritis much much worse (this was a professional’s opinion after examining her and giving her xrays). We’ve kept her on metacam to ease the pain, but I read somewhere that metacam can slow the healing process. Should we take her off metacam for a couple of weeks to heal, or leave her on?

Hi my husky injury her left knee about a week ago! When it happened she cried in pain. Was not in the room when it happened but she has partial lameness as of now. Full lame for first day. Will walk on it and stretch it out behind her. Sits pretty normal but won’t fully put weight on it standing! Knee feels pretty stable but pops on and off. Giving buffered aspirin and glucosamine. Try not to let her jump on bed but she does it anyways. Muscle tear? Meniscus tear? Or ccl tare? Non surgical pls

Hi. I'm afraid I've made a stupid mistake w my 10-y-o arthritic labrador. He's been very stiff, slow and lethargic the last few days. Appt. with vet next wk. An orthopedic surgeon friend recommended I give him 200 mg of ibuprofen 3x a day. Just gave him 200 mg; then read online that any amount of ibuprofen for dogs can be poisonous. How worried should I be??

My dog has arthritis and Friday was vomiting. Now today she won’t get up and she isn’t eating. She also is shivering so we have covered up. Is there anything else I can do to make her more comfortable

Pitbull terrier was prescribed Panalog for ear infection today. Gave dose (maybe a bit more than I should in 1 ear) and dog shook a lot out. He was shaking his head a lot and panting afterwards. I gave benadryl (50mg) to help him with scratching & sleep. He calmed down and Slept an hr. But he's awake and has been periodically shaking his head/scratching since then and can't get comfortable enough to sleep. What to do?

I shaved for my dog yesterday and he has got allergies all over his body its all red and he seems in despair ... what medicine can i give him and is there any thing else other than medications i can do.... plus which vitamins are suitable for him if there are any names... please help
