Carprofen has really helped my old dog (15) with mobility. I prefer the chewables to the pills, because I can put it with his kibble. The pill had to be hidden in cheese. If you have an older dog having trouble getting up and down, check with your vet. This is a prescription medicine.

Yes, I recommend this product.

So far so good. My dog was taking the name brand Rimadyl, but it was very expensive. This product from Petco is half the price and seems to be as effective.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Generic Rimadyl

My senior pug has a herniated disk in her neck. She's been on Rimadyl which is quite pricey. This generic brand is great. It's basically the same size as the Rimadyl chewables but it is round instead of square. Easy to split in two. My girl gobbles it up. So happy that there is a generic version!

Yes, I recommend this product.

I've ordered carprofen 100mg chewable tablets for dogs with only one successful order in three. Each time Petco contacts my vet for verification, which is easily given for a 30-day supply. For my dog that means 45 tablets (he takes 1.5 tablets/day). Petco's website only allows you to order 30 tablets, 60 tablets, or 180 tablets. I order 60. My vet tells me that when they talk w/Petco pharma they're told they'll approve and sent 45 tablets yet then Petco cancels the order. I call, and when I speak with Petco pharma I'm told they _cannot_ fulfill 45 tablets. The only successful order was when I ordered 60 tablets and my vet approved it without a change in quantity. Clearly a case of the right hand not talking to the left hand! I understand there's a change in price with fulfilling a lower quantity, but that should be able to be managed with an email/phone call easily enough. Petco ought to make it easier to order odd quantities. I'm no longer ordering from Petco. They've lost my business. There are other choices that are a little less expensive and a lot easier to order.

No, I do not recommend this product.
