WHATEVER YOU DO. DO NOT BUY THIS

DONT PURCHASE. My dog ended up in the EMERGENCY ROOM. I foolishly purchased this product in a pinch. HUGE MISTAKE. It made my very energetic Labrador became incredibly ill, he was vomiting all over non stop, had droopy eyes, not moving. After rushing him to doctor- My vet told me how they still dont know how this products is still on the shelves. Apparently its a WAY bigger dosage than you are ever supposed to give a dog as well. Like 15g over the safe amount. Please whatever you do not purchase this product out of convenience- speak with your vet, it is worth waiting for correct instructions from them. DONT BUY SPREAD THE WORD OF THIS DANGEROUS PRODUCT

No, I do not recommend this product.

Aspiring poisoning - DONT BUY THIS

DO NOT GIVE! our dog was given the dosage amount for 3 days and had bloody diarrhea and stopped eating or drinking. Took to an emergency vet who tested his blood and he has ASPIRIN POISONING from taking 6 pills!! They said if he had taken more he would’ve died. This product is mislabeled and not safe for dogs according to our vet. A $20 bottle of pills turned into an emergency vet bill and almost losing our dog.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Made my dog vomit non stop. Had to take my dog immediately to the vet. He told me that it is not good for dogs as their stomachs cannot handle the pill. He said absolutely NO, don’t use it! If your dog is having any pains, please save yourself the heartache and take them to the vet.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Helped my pitbull mix with a sprained leg

Agon

My dog sprained her back right leg and had very little mobility after landing funny jumping out of my car. I could tell it was just a sprain since she was still putting weight on it here and there, so I really didn’t want to make an emergency visit to the vet for Rimadyl, and was surprised that I could get this aspirin marketed for dogs without a prescription. My dog is 74lbs, so at the recommended 5mg per pound she is supposed to be able to take 370mg, so I gave her one pill hidden in peanut butter. The one pill (300mg) totally took away any pain she had all day long and she even hopped on her 2 back legs to greet me at one point. Huge difference from her right hind leg being fully lame the previous morning. I didn’t want to push the risk of her having a gastrointestinal issue, so I didn’t give it to her again after 12 hours as recommended since the one pill helped her so much. I would only give this again as needed if there seems to be continued pain. Good to have it on hand since she seems to be developing arthritis as she’s gotten older. Follow the dosing directions! If your dog is less than 60lbs, I’d just go for the pills for smaller dogs to play it safe with the dosing.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Questions

1 - 10 of 14 Questions

My dog recently had stomach surgery and is on a strict diet for digestive issues. He has elbow dysplasia and I’m wondering if this aspirin will be safe for his stomach.

  1. I would ask your vet since your dog had stomach surgery. My dog tolerates the aspirin when given occasionally but he has a healthy stomach.

My dog has a tooth ache, not abcessed I don’t believe. When shes given crunchy treats i can tell there’s some pain. Shes a12 yr old lab/golden/mix breed. Emergency vet is too expensive and I can’t get to my vet til Tuesday, will this help in the meantime?

  1. This product can be used for temporary pain relief, so it is fine.

My dog has a growth on her gum. I took herto the Vet and they said she needs surgery which is over $1000 that I can't afford right now. Will this product help her with pain? She's eating very little and just lays down all the time. I don't know what to do

  1. If the growth on her gum is an abscess, tender mass surrounded by a colored area from pink to deep red, then she def needs medical treatment. Abscesses are often easy to feel by touching. The vast majority of them are caused by infections. Inside, they are full of pus, bacteria and debris. This can get into their bloodstream. Check if your vet offers CareCredit which can provide a payment plan to get her through surgery. My dog had an abscess and it was very painful for her. They can go away on their own but better safe than sorry. Good luck!!
