I get this prednisone from Petco because my vet doesn't carry the 2.5 mg tablets and the 5mg tablets he carries split unevenly. Prednisone is such a powerful medication that I want to make sure my pup is getting the exact correct dose so I was happy to find it available at Petco. I order two bottles at a time to get free shipping.

I gave this a 3-star...only because Prednisone is shown as a medication for cats, when in-fact, my vet refused to approve it. PredniSOLONE was the recommended choice for felines. I did like the lower dosage available, as I could still break them in half. Would have been a great value for the money

I need to find out if the 2.5mg tabs of prednisone (SKU 2976154) are scored...so they can be broken in 1/2.

    They are typically scored, but even with scoring the easiest way to cut them is with a pill cutter from a pharmacy.
