"Bitter," was ineffective

Adhesive property of wrap is good, but the "bitter," property didn't delay my dog from removing the wrap. I was depending on that "bitter," feature.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Product worked well but doesn’t have much on 1 roll. I wrapped my mini dachshunds abdomen twice & that was the whole roll. 1 roll is $8.99 which in my opinion, is way overpriced.

No, I do not recommend this product.

While my dog is not much of a chewer, he was interested in licking the flexible bandage I got from the vet (just your average bandage you’d find at cvs for people) and hasn’t licked this more than once. I tried it and (if dogs’ taste is anything like ours) it’s pretty bad, so I’ve been buying it although it is much more expensive than the regular stuff.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Bitterless Bandage

I bought this knowing that some dogs like the bitter taste. However, while bitter apple spray tastes bitter to humans, and if any gets on your hands you can tell, these bandages lacked any bitterness. They work as bandages, which is why I am giving 2 stars instead of 1 star, but your better off getting the regular bandages and using bitter apple spray.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Horrible products

She was licking the bandages before I even put them on her. She likes the way it tastes. I thought it was supposed to be a deterrent, but she couldn’t wait to start licking the bandages.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Good product, but not for what we needed

So we bought this for a wound under the ear. While the product itself worked fine, it simply wasn’t what we needed. I will give some extra props for the pricing as there was a deal when we bought it. Wasted 1/3 rolls trying to wrap the wound and gave up. Still have 2 rolls to use for future emergencies.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Hi - If this is licked, is it toxic to the pet?

  1. Hi STA123, It is non-toxic and has a bitter taste to prevent pets from licking it. Thanks,

Would this work if my dog has a cut on his back that he keeps scratching?

  1. Yes you could probably wrap it around his body to cover it up :) maybe get an inflatable soft cone too
