[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this product. We used the same stuff at the vet office I worked at. It really helps stop any bleeding from a nail trim super fast! Everyone needs to keep some on hand .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product worked well for my dog. The packaging was fine and the ingredients appear to be safe. It also does not have a bad scent, would recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] after I cut my dogs nail a bit too short I vowed I never would again. That said, accidents can happen! Thankfully they haven’t yet, but I am glad to have this product on hand. It’s affordable and works effectively in a scary situation. I have used it to stop bleeding on a small cut (not on the nail) and it worked there too! I will keep this on hand forever.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Miracle Care First Aid for Birds, Cats, and Dogs. This is a must-have if you are trimming your fur babies' nails or even the feathered friends. The darker the nails, the harder to see the quik;any slight nick can cause a bleed. Use this to stop the bleeding from tiny nicks. Read the label. This is NOT for deep wounds.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I technically haven’t used this on my dog yet as I really try not to cut too close to his quick. my vet office uses the same brand though, and it has been effective in the past when they have clipped his nails. It is nice to have handy just in case.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am thankful to have received this product from influenster free in exchange for my honest review. Luckily I have not had to use it yet for a cut nail, but I know septic powder is proven to help with nail nicks and improve the healing process for animals. I am happy to have it on hand in case anything happens.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a wonderful product to have on hand if you clip your pet’s nails. Knowing that you can stop bleeding if you cut the quick is such a relief! Good value for the money.

Is the powder supposed to be yellow with green pieces?

Can you apply this to the nail of a bunny?

    1. Yes. Absolutely!

    What color is the Powder?

    1. Mustard yellow

need msds or sds for osha standards. Where can i find this ?

I used this on myself . On a cut on my head from shaving. Is there a msds sheet or safety data sheet on this product? Is this safe? Thanks

      1. You can get alum power in the spice aisle at Walmart. Only one ingredient. It’s been used for centuries to stop minor bleeding

Can it be used on guinea pig.

Can it be used on humans?

This used to be NOT safe and/or recommended for birds. Have they changed the formula?

          1. Thank you for your question. According to the manufacturer, there has been no change to the Kwik Stop Powder. It has always been safe for use on birds.

Can this be used on trimmed bird (parakeet in this case) beaks?

          1. You need to get your parakeet a cuttlebone so he/she will trim his/her own beak!!!

I live in humid country and it gets moist and crumbly. Is it still safe to use?

          1. I've used mine under the same conditions and it still works. They do sell a gel form of this so the moisture shouldn't be a problem.........you will just have to administer it a bit differently, (putting a small ball of it on a Q-tip and then applying it.)
