I have basset hounds so dirty ears are definitely something I deal with. This works fine in my one pups ears but hers don’t get very bad. On the other hand, this makes my other baby’s ears much worse and causes infections sadly. Every time I clean his ears just days later there’s a ton of wax and inflammation inside and he literally aims his head onto my fingers so I can scratch inside better lol. There’s no reason why an ear cleaner needs to be scented. You shouldn’t have a dog if things like that matter that much imo! And I don’t like that I have to wash my hands anytime it gets on me because if I don’t then my fingers are sticky (I’m sure there’s a better word to describe but I can’t think right now) overall it’s nothing spectacular and I won’t be rebuying.

          I had contacted the Zymox company asking the same question, as I had my dog on the ear solution w/.5% hydrocortisone.  The infection was gone, but there was still wax that wouldn’t come out and they recommended this ear cleanser.  Should work!
