It didn’t seem to break my dogs skin out and seemed to cool down the redness in between my dogs paws - his vet says he might have minor allergies. The spray does have a slightly sweet smell which some might not like. It has a warning not to spray near mouth or mucous membranes which was why I took some stars off - my dog has a hot spot near his mouth and that was one of the main reasons to sign up for this program…but I couldn’t use it on the one hotspot I wanted it to

He’s still biting his side. It smells good and is easy to use. It might depend on how sensitive your dog is for his well it works. In this case I think my dog may need an allergy shot

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My very happy pup loved this ointment. More than anything she loved not having painful spots on her body. It really worked! The scent is mild. The ingredients appear to be effective for treating hot spots.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Effective! My dog is always digging around in bushes and tall grass. He gets dermatitis and he loses hair on his chin. He scratches and scratches until he leaves a red sore under his chin. I strayed this on his chin and within about a weeks his chin healed up. He stopped scratching too. It definitely seemed to provide him with relief. Good product!

Tried it on my black lab. Product really worked on a hot spot. The pump bottle did not work right. Made applying the medicine a task.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn’t sure what to expect when trying out Sulfodene Hot Spot Spray. We’ve tried a handful of products for my mini schnauzer’s seasonal allergies and nothing *really* helps long term.. until now! We were so surprised how easy it was to apply, and how effective it seems to be! I’m kicking myself for not taking a “before” picture, because she had a large hot spot that was flaky, irritated, and the hair was matted in a circle around it from all her messing with it. It seemed sensitive and we were about to take her to the vet when this spray arrived. We figured we’d try it and if it didn’t work almost immediately, medication was next step. After the first spritz that night, we noticed she wasn’t biting at it anymore. I sprayed a bit more two days later, just to be safe, and a week later when we took her to the groomer they remarked it was healed! Just matted fur around it, which they shaved down. The after photo speaks for itself.. in fact I had a hard time finding the exact spot prior to taking the photo! Immediate relief for my pup, and avoided a vet bill for us. Win-win!
