Can I use this for inside a dogs ear
- Hi Big I. Hydrogel is designed for use on topical skin issues not for problems inside the ear. For issues inside the ear please use Vetericyn Ear Rinse. It's a liquid formula that flushes dirt and debris to help relieve itch and irritation, reduce odor, and help lower the chance of infection. Thanks for your question.

Does it have an expiration date?
- Yes, it has an expiration date. However, I have used the same bottle for well over ten years beyond the expiration date. It is always effective. It is a miracle worker.

I notice it is recommended to use hydrogel with the wound and skin care spray for best results...but comparing active ingredients, both have same---.010 hypochlorous acid in the gel, and ,012 hypochlorous acid in the spray...why would both be needed?
- Hi debg66. We recommend using the liquid to first flush and clean the wound site and then applying the hydrogel to protect and provide moisture to the wound. Cleaning and then protecting the wound will give your pet the best chance at faster healing and minimizing the risk of infection. Alone, the liquid or hydrogel will do a fantastic job at helping wounds heal, and together they are even better! Feel free to contact us at customerservice@innovacyn.com if you have any more questions. Thanks for reaching out!
