We have our dog in a splint for a broken leg, it is his 7th out of 9 weeks. The bandage became too tight around his ankle at some point last night and I was forced to cut it off this morning due to loss of circulation. I am able to rebangage it myself at this point, but am wondering if he needs any drugs to make the swelling go down or if it will reduce on its own through the day?
A wire was stuck on his legs lot of swelling in that area he is very uncomfortable plz suggest any medicine
Hendrix has a small collar sore. I washed it yesterday with medicated dog shampoo (antibacterial + antifungal) and then I put a thin layer A & D ointment on it. I did the same today. Is there anything else I can use to help heal it?. He’s in not in pain or doesn’t wince when I touch it or cleanse it. just reposting to add pictures Also I have goodwinol ointment. Btw the black thing is his leash just to coax him in the tub, it didn’t touch his sore but he’s collarless
My 9 month American Bulldog at 90 lbs has hyagroma on both elbows. What is the best route to take? I bought a brace but he wont keep it on when Im not at home. I heard surgery is expensive and just as frustrating
My dog is limping and she hurt or pulled a ligament, I took her to the vet and gave her shots for the inflammation I wanted to ask you if I'm able to wrap her leg or something?
My dog had a cut between some of her pads on her foot. she wouldn’t stop licking the paw, so we wrapped it up and put neosporin on it. She hasn’t bothered it since. Should we be concerned?

My dog had the cover of his toenail removed 3 weeks ago exposing the quick. His doctor is on vacation until Monday. I change his dressing 2 to 3 times a day and use Hibitane cream to help the healing. He also had three small fractures in his paw there were removed. My question is should I keep changing the dressing and putting the cream on until I hear back from my doctor on January 7 Or should I keep the quick exposed to the air while he’s in the house? Good Evening, I just noticed that my dogs paw is red on the pads. She is limping like it hurts. It’s only on back paws. I’m in NY visiting from NC. It’s not bleeding just red and irritated. What can I get to relieve her. Should I purchase gauze and ace bandage? Please help!
Limping back right leg
My 2 year old medium sized mix breed Xena has ripped a decent size chunk of her paw pad. I thought of cutting the flap part off but i worry about blood vessels and such. The flap piece is thick and swollen, she is also rebellious, hyper and not very compliant, especially with painful things or staying still too long. I had been taking care of my dad with cancer for the past few months, so I have been out of work. So i have NO money to get her to a vet.
I trimmed her nails this morning and I guess cut them too short or cut the same 1 two times because she never stays still for more than 10 seconds and so she busted the nail open and was bleeding but not large amounts or pouring blood so I did the flour and water paste mixture and dipped her paw in it and then put sterile gauze and a bandage around it and she tore the bandage off so I don't know what else to do. What can I do to keep her from busting it open again?
