Great idea, but velcro cuts in to pet's skin
We have used this in the past with other dogs, but with our current lab, the velcro cuts into the skin on her leg, so even though it's protecting her wound, it is actually causing irritation at the same time. I wouldn't order it again.

I am sorry you had trouble. We designed it so the velcro connects onto the material and shouldn't be rubbing against the dogs skin. It may be applied incorrectly. Works Great!
Babe has a torn ligament and this wrap gives her a little extra support when we go for a walk. I think she understands that it helps her. She gets excited when she sees me get it, because she knows she gets it on when she goes for a walk. And although she tried to chew the first one off, the other day after our walk, she kept it on for two full days before she tried to take it off.
Babe likes to go swimming and the velcro keeps it securely in place. It's wonderful that I can take it on and off when necessary; it dries fast; it's well made; and it does exactly what I want it to do.

Healers leg wrap
This is a quality product and does the job. I am using it to support a weak wrist joint. My pup took it off the other day, shortly after I put it on. So I have been using it right before we head out for a walk. When she came back from a longer walk limping, she was happy to have it on and kept it on for two days without trying to take it off. So it must be doing it's job.

Healers medical leg wraps
I bought these after my dog had surgery on her leg they kept the wound protected although the gauze pads could have been a little bigger. But overall a good product to keep wounds clean and dry. The velcro around the edge makes it harder for the dog to get it off which is a very nice feature!!

easy to use
I bought this to have on hand just in case. I tried it our our weimaraner and it was very easy to put on. However, the gauze pads that it comes with are not very exciting. I would make sure you have some others on hand as well.

Can this be heated to use on an arthritic front leg of my 13 yr old Aussie? I need a wrap to heat in microwave to put around her front legm
I need it, not to cover a wound, my lab had a hot spot on her leg, but i have it all cleared up, and i need this to put over the spot to keep her from licking it and starting the hot spot all over. will the small work for this? no medium in stock
Would this work to cover a tumor/lump on the leg to keep a dog from licking it? We have surgery scheduled to remove then but until then need something to keep him from licking it.
It looks like this bandage only comes in medium on the website. I have a 15 pound mini schnauzer yorkie mix so I’m thinking he needs a small. Is there a small available at the stores? Or do you think a medium would work? Thanks for your input!!
- Hi, I haven't even opened mine, but it looks like the same kind that the vet uses; you could just cut it in half or however much your yorkie needs!
