Conures are playful, inquisitive birds that need a habitat with ample room for exercise and space to play to encourage mental and physical stimulation. Provide a conure cage with sufficient room to allow your bird freely spread both wings without hitting the sides of the habitat. Select the largest possible habitat for your bird. Keep in mind that the minimum sized habitat should be approximately 24 W x 24 D x 30 H inches with strong metal bars spaced no greater than ½ to ¾ inch apart.
It is best to provide the largest habitat possible. A habitat approximately 24 W x 24 D x 30 H inches with strong metal bars spaced no greater than ½ to ¾ inch apart can make a good home for a small conure.
Food and water dishes with high-quality conure food, a variety of toys and perches of varying diameters and textures are the basics your conure will need. Since conures often like to snuggle, provide them with a fuzzy toy or happy hut will be appreciated. Occasional treats and access to a play gym will also help make your conure's habitat a happy home.
As long as their wings stay clipped and they are enclosed in a safe environment, as much supervised time out of their habitat that you can spare will be very beneficial for them and your relationship.

I am looking to get a bigger cage for my 2 year old conure. Currently I’m in the market to buy one online that is advertised as a “solid metal cage” coated with “non-toxic hammertone paint” which included stainless steel dishes. I was just was just wondering if this would actually be a safe cage for a green cheek.
What are the best type of perches for my two year old male black capped conure?
I am looking to get a bigger cage for my 2 year old conure. Currently I’m in the market to buy one online that is advertised as a “solid metal cage” coated with “non-toxic hammertone paint” which included stainless steel dishes. I was just wondering if this would actually be a safe cage for a green cheek. The seller is YaheeTech, which is based in Ontario California but customer pictures show a box with "Made in China." Mostly 5 stars, with lowest rating be 3 stars. Is non-toxic hammertone safe?
i have a new conure what can i do
Is there a type of bird cage for parakeets. We have two that are in a basic counter top cage but I wanted to get a bigger one. I was told not to get one with dome top. Is this correct?
What is some bird cage recommendation for 2 parakeet at the lowest price available, or if by any chance a free unwanted bird cage at nyc., Thank you
Where can I buy travel cages for my birds? What cage would you recommend? I have 3 parakeets and I’m moving to a new house soon and I want to make sure I move them properly.
My Amazon Bandit needs a larger cage. I am hesitant to purchase a new cage as the one he has is too small. Descriptions do not indicate the spacing of the bats. Additionally there are no toys in cages to help identify which cage is best. I inherited Bandit and he throws pellets out of feed dish and doesn't seem to care for food that came with him. Suggestions?
My Canary, Ringo, has a Cage that has a peaked roof, like a house. I have a chance to get a Flat-topped roof, larger cage. Which type of cage do Canaries like? I prefer the house-style cage, as it is more attractive. But, I realize Canaries don't know about their cage being attractive. Ringo would be able to fly more in the larger cage. Is the Peaked Roof just a Personal, Human Preference? And, Not the Canaries?
Where is the best place for me to put my bird cage?
Hi. My 9 month old conure will step up when she’s outside the cage but never in the cage. I have no trouble getting her back in the cage. I let her on my shoulders and she plays with toys around my neck. She’s talking a little now. We have fun singing and playing, etc. however, I just finished reading “a guide to a well behaved parrot” and it says she’s only to go in and out the cage on
my 6-7 week half moon conure is gonna start needing adult food any advice on what kind and brand is the best?
