Although your conure should spend significant time outside of its habitat socializing with you, toys provide an outlet for engagement and help reduce destructive behaviors when your bird is in their habitat. While there are many different types of toys suitable for your birdy buddy, toys for your conure should be of the size and material to withstand the powerful beaks and claws of a medium sized parrot.
Toys provide an outlet for your bird to entertain itself and find mental and physical stimulation. They may also encourage natural behaviors such as foraging.
There are a multitude of different types of toys, but they should be of the size and material suitable for a medium parrot to reduce the risk of premature destruction or accidental ingestion of parts.
An assortment of toys is always ideal, but a minimum of 3 - 4 toys which are switched out regularly to prevent boredom, and discarded once significant wear and tear is noticed will help keep your conure mentally and physically stimulated.

I am looking to get a bigger cage for my 2 year old conure. Currently I’m in the market to buy one online that is advertised as a “solid metal cage” coated with “non-toxic hammertone paint” which included stainless steel dishes. I was just was just wondering if this would actually be a safe cage for a green cheek.
I have a pair of Patagonian Conures. Whenever I talk to them or try to socialize with them, they run to their toys (usually bells) an start playing. I don';t know if this them being territorial, or encouraging me to play with them.
Can my Conure have rawhides? For example could my conure have a dog rawhide or if I got a rawhide from a butcher shop would that be okay for her? I know I have seen raw hides on bird toys but wonder if they can have it what type of rawhide can they have?

Mostly 5 stars, with lowest rating be 3 stars. Is non-toxic hammertone safe?
Is it ok for my parakeet to be chewing on a rope?
What do you recommend I need my new sun conure? I have been giving him seeds, bits of fruit, and such lately. I would just like to know the best thought on what to feed him! I.e. treats and normal diet. Should I buy pellets and change out his food between seeds and pellets daily? Can I offer him dry food treats? What is a good snack/treat for him that’s healthy?

I recently got a baby conure. I would like him to have a little bit of training. I was wondering how do you train him to stay on a perch? Also he loves to play which I love but he gets a little nippy. He’s not being aggressive or anything he just gets very excited. How do you get him to lay off the play biting? Thank you
I have a yellow crown amazon parrot, and I want to provide him with a variety of foods, such as vegetables and berries, but I don’t know what is good and bad for them. Help please! My parrot LOVES peanuts, like when i feed him his nut mix, he always goes for the peanuts first.
