Will my ShiChon who is 15 long and 11 high fit in a airline soft sided carrier that is 17x11x11? Will she be comfortable as well? I’ve attached a picture of her in it. She climbed in herself.
My Amazon Bandit needs a larger cage. I am hesitant to purchase a new cage as the one he has is too small. Descriptions do not indicate the spacing of the bats. Additionally there are no toys in cages to help identify which cage is best. I inherited Bandit and he throws pellets out of feed dish and doesn't seem to care for food that came with him. I am going to visit family for a week and I have to take my bird with me. I saw online that it helps to get him used to the cage for awhile before trying to travel with him. I didn't know I should do that until now. It's only an hour away but I want him to be safe. Should I try to get him in a travel cage (which will be a challenge bc I don't think he would trust me enough to pick him up other than by perching) or use his regular cage? Any other ideas? I know to not have loose toys in the cage.

I am looking to get a bigger cage for my 2 year old conure. Currently I’m in the market to buy one online that is advertised as a “solid metal cage” coated with “non-toxic hammertone paint” which included stainless steel dishes. I was just wondering if this would actually be a safe cage for a green cheek. The seller is YaheeTech, which is based in Ontario California but customer pictures show a box with "Made in China." Mostly 5 stars, with lowest rating be 3 stars. Is non-toxic hammertone safe?

Hi there, I am coming up soon on a long distance move, and am bringing my bird Scout with me. I have already purchased a travel carrier and am planning on keeping her with me for most of the trip. I have read a few tips online on how to keep her safe and cozy, but I was hoping that I could get a few more tips on how to make sure she stays relaxed and happy. She does tend to enjoy looking around and seeing the outside, but I was hoping to get expert advice on how to do this successfully. Thanks!
I am looking into buying a new cage for my Syrian hamster and my current cage is a total of 288 in.² total it's 16 inches in width 12 inches in depth and 18 inches in height. I found two cages I want to choose from the first one being a total of 953 in.² total with a length of 30.7 inches a width of 18.9 inches and a height of 19.7 inches. The other one is 271 Square inches total with a length of 13.75 inches a width of 11.25 inches and a height of 21 inches. Which cage would be better?
I want a pet bird but I have NO space!! I want one of those gothic hanging cages…would one of those work? What’s a bird that’s low maintenance (I’m not good at cleaning cages) I also want one with a not super long life span.
