Cage arrived with bent bars to the back panel and surface rust. I'm assuming a&e's warehouse has water coming into their warehouse somewhere as the box was not wet when it arrived. The cage does not connect securely to the base. This cause it to move and fall over when moving it across an uneven surface. I will most likely return this when another cage arrives for my birds.

Love this cage! Wanting to save some money, I initially went with a Yaheetech flight cage. But you get what you pay for - the bars were wider than advertised, and even the advertised bar gap was too large for budgies, and it nearly cost my budgie his life, as he got stuck trying to escape (he got halfway through). So I did my research and settled on this cage instead - it was tough to swallow paying a bit over $100 more, but this seemed like the best deal, so I went ahead with it. Once I got it I was so happy I did! The quality difference is amazing. I feel it'll last for a really long time. There were no rust spots or paint chips or bent bars. The latch is secure, and I love the feed doors on the side. My little siblings helped put it together, we had zero problems/confusion with following the instructions. The color (hunter green) is so pretty! Most importantly, the bar gaps are safe for budgies, even young ones, and mine will be quite safe in it. Would 100% recommend!

I bought this cage last year in June (the blue version) and it came to me with chipped paint, multiple bent bars, and a cracked bottom tray. I tried to contact support, send in multiple tickets, and could never get any response. Now, less than a year later, almost all the paint has chipped off on one of the sides, even in places my bird never goes. It's only one side too (the side that was chipped), making me think it's obviously a painting defect. Very unhappy. I really liked the cage too. If only they had responded to me and send replacement parts, I would have been super happy with it.

I bought this cage in platinum color for my pineapple green cheek conure. It's really big ! My bird spends most of its time at the top of the cage but the containers with water and food are at the bottom of the cage. The only minus is the plastic tray stinks a lot. The wheels move very slightly which is very helpful.

This is a very roomy cage for my lovebird, with plenty of space for her to explore. It's nice to know she isn't cramped and has room in all directions to play. Cage was pretty easy to assemble, though the directions were not helpful. The tray is miserably cracked. The cage itself is in fine condition thanks to reinforced packaging, but I'm in the process of trying to replace the tray, as none of my others are large enough. I do wish there was a small door set in the large door: Theoretically Oona could fly out when I open the cage to tend to her. The feeding stations are not very well designed in my opinion, but it's easy to put in your own (I have stainless steel ones that clamp right in). All in all still five stars: The quality is outstanding, especially for the price.

the green is a mix between a light green and dark green / or black. it is 50/50 in color proportion. in bright light its a nice dark very rich looking green. in dim light it can look more close to black but imo it is a beautiful deep rich green. i will try to post better pic later

I've had many a&e cages. This one did not disappoint, however, it did arrive damaged. Kudos to Petco as they were diligent and expeditious with getting me a replacement and to a&e for standing behind their products. These products are heavy and I don't think the shipping companies are gentle with them. Perhaps a second edge band of cardboard could have prevented the damage; though I will say, the second one arrived in an even more mangled box but somehow survived unscathed.

I just purchased this and my bird loves it! We had a prevue macaw size cage before, but she loves this one so much more. It’s wider and easier for her to move around. It’s also super easy to move and despite being a bigger cage, it’s super light. Highly recommended!
