I have 2 of these Featherland cages this size and the smaller size. This larger cage I’ve had for over 8 years now and it still looks brand new! Shiny stainless steel and it wipes clean. I did buy the outside feeder doors with the plastic shields. Makes feeding and water super easy and anyone can feed my parrots now without having to open up the cage. the vertical bars in front and back are nice and the sides have horizontal bars. another feature that I’ve never needed to use is if you don’t like the grate you can remove it and just use the bottom pan. I know on some cages it is not possible but this cage it will work. I’ve attached a multi branch on top of the dome so when my parrot is out climbing around she can climb up there and play with some more toys, on the bottom shelf I added a piece of plastic board so I can place containers easier than trying to balance them on the wide space bars. I did a lot of research on stainless cages and I kept coming back to this name brand and I’m really happy with my decision.

I purchased this cage to modify for my chinchillas. I installed wooden ledges and hidey-holes, and my chinchillas absolutely love its spacious interior. I personally love the cage because it is so easy to clean. Chinchilla urine, just like parrot excrement, is highly corrosive, and it eats away at other metals. However, with stainless steel, it wipes away effortlessly…no need for elbow grease! Putting it together was also nice and easy, and I didn’t need a single tool or screw. The fact that it can also be folded up for easy storage is also a nice perk. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase.

I have an (can't mention according to the posting rules) SS cage and it is far superior in build and the stainless steel is of higher quality. With this cage, the special outside feed cups are way too fragile and not sturdy like the ceramic cups that come with the cage. And the outside cups LEAK WATER slowly creating a deposit that I can now NOT GET OFF of the stainless steel bars below it. The leakage ruined my floor too! I am sorry I didn't go to ( - ) for this purchase. Yes, I would have paid a bit more, but I would have had a much better product. What a bummer.

This was my second Caitec/Featherland cage that I have purchased. Their cages are wonderfully made. I had previously purchased the largest model (mansion) and this smaller/mid sized one is just as great. :) Worth every penny. :)

My African Grey loves the bigger version and my Caique loves this one. Very well made, easy to clean, but I did go to the manufacture's site (Caitec) and order the food bowl covers. Really keeps the fruit flinging to a minimum! But the cage looks great and is very roomy.

It arrived by trucking company well wrapped and protected... Arrived in perfect shape ( had read others have had damage)... 20 minutes later I finished putting it together.... It IS the best cage I have ever seen... The price is the best for a stainless cage made anywhere... I added the external feeders too, gives more space and allows for better perch configurations. Well constructed and quality in all aspects ... If you have to save a bit longer for this cage, do it....you won't be disappointed...
