Royal Canin Veterinary Diet

Can you please recommend a diet for a cat with Feline pancreatitis, currently feeding Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Feline Sensitivity Control Wet food. He only eats wet food.

Royal canin or earthborn?? Thos are the choices i can buy from now

I have two cats, one of my cats has been prescribed Royal Canin Urinary S/O by vets to treat struvite crystals however he hates the wet food he won't eat it what so ever, will buying the dried food of Royal Canin S/O be safe to use for him? Also will my other cat be allowed to eat this also?

I have a cat who wasn’t eating or drinking, having taken her to the vet last Monday they have said she has kidney failure. They’ve put her on the royal canin renal diet which she’s not really eating, even if I give her normal food she’s not eating as much as did normally. I’m just worried because I don’t want her to lose anymore weight

Why is Royal Canin so highly recommended by vets when dog food advisor etc show how low quality the ingredients are? Ie corn fillers, byproducts, meals, etcI’m so confused by the polar opposite recommendations and ingredient quality.

Hi. In my country the only brands that are available are Royal canine, sanabelle, friskies which I prefer Royal above all. I wanna do is what"s best for her ? Can I give her home made food ?

My cat has inflamed pancreas. We immediately started her on dry Royal Canin gastrointestinal yesterday...but I am not sure she has gone poo yet. I am interested in natural cures. Would it inflame her to give some oil of some kind..maybe some fish oil, or some olive oil? Is Tuna very bad for her? She vomited a lot on Wednesday and became sick. Normally, she loves to eat wet food...I have given many variations but she is only eating dry food now. Why? Is she in pain? She sleeps a lot today?

Hi for the past 7 days I’ve been transitioning tony to a kidney diet with the help of 1/8 mirtazapine appetite stimulant every 48 hours. Today on day 7, I was told to try 100% kidney food (none of his senior diet mixed in) and he’s acting picky with it, not cleaning his bowl like he has the past 6 days with his old senior diet and kidney food mixed. Even with the appetite stimulant should I expect it to be a longer transition period? thx!

I’m really searching for a different flavor royal canine wet dog food and royal canine doesn’t have much of a selection. So I also saw broth bowls food topper. Why is it when dogs have upset stomachs or problems keeping food down vets recommend a bland diet of boiled chicken and white rice? Wouldn’t the sudden switch to human food cause more problems?
