My dog has possible food allergies to so many things. The specialist we took her to recommended we switch from Hydrolyzed Protein to Select Protein PD. Once we made this change we saw an immediate shift in her health. She is no longer having stomach upset on this diet and she LOVES the food. She's always been food motivated but when she sees me go to get her food now she starts drooling! Overall, I'm satisfied, I have finally found a diet that works for her and she seems to really enjoy it which is a plus!

Dog will eat this when he’s very hungry. I don’t think it tastes great. Or hes used to his old diet. We got on this hydrolyzed soy protein dog food because of allergies and dermatitis. We’re trying elimination diet and medication. So far I’m not sure if anything is working but his paw licking and itching is not getting worse so that’s great.

Good for for highly allergic dog

We have a 1 yr old dog and she is allergic to many foods. This formula is one that she can eat. We were happy to find it and Petco was one place that stocked it (supply chain problems made it hard to find). It’s prescription so we needed approval from our vet. Petco’s turnaround was quick and we had the food fairly soon.

I have several Setters but my Irish has IBD. Thankfully my Vet recommended this product 7 years ago and I can say that her IBD has been under control for all this time. Our English Setter must has posed for the picture on the bag.

Nobody can get this product right now, not my vet, not you guys... The supply has suddenly run dry for weeks now and still pending from multiple sources...My dog really needs this food, as do many others waiting on this product...What’s going on?
