They had the special diet food that o needed that was half the price that the vet had

I ordered this vet prescription dry and canned dog food for my Rottie who has diabetes. I have a prescription and uploaded it on the Petco web site. Now remembering I am ordering this for a sick dog who needs his dry food changed as soon as possible. Diabetes management dry food is not available in local stores. I also live in a rural area. I kept getting emails and messages from Petco that they were confirming the prescription with my Vet, or I could upload the written one. I uploaded it multiple times. I finally received the dry food, but not canned. They were the same prescription. So I assumed, bad idea, that because they were on the same prescription and they filled the one item, the dry food, that they would ship the canned canned food. And it took a week to receive. I called customer service, who said they were waiting for the prescription or confirmation from my Vet. I asked why, if they were waiting for the prescription for the food, would they ship the dry portion and not the canned, as they were on the same script. I was given a direct email to email the prescription and assured me I would receive the canned food right away and he would take care of it personally and send me a confirmation. I emailed the prescription. Never heard back from him. However - 4 days later I received an email saying my order was cancelled because they never got the confirmation from my Vet. Remembering this is a prescription diet for a sick dog. I gave up and did the same process through Chewy - same food - same prescription, same process of uploading the written prescription - had both foods, canned and dry within 3 days. So sorry Petco - I am done with ordering from you. I cannot rely on you.

Before my blind diabetic dog passed he was on this food. My other dog eats this food as well. They have done very well eating this food !

My dog loves this food! I switched him in 3/4 day instead of a week. It smells like cat food but he waits at his food container as I'm scooping it out and runs to eat it.

I bought one of this product two months,I was trying to buy another bag but They told me that I need the prescription again even they have a copy , I couldn't buy it and my pet didn't have to eat for three days.
