Moderate calorie or less food and more water?

IzzyBoo

I have to ask, is this moderate calorie version called moderate calorie because it actually has less ‘morsels’ in the can and more gravy??? I had the regular calorie before this case and the amount of gravy is considerable more than the other. Ridiculous and the cost of course went up, so paying for more gravy (water) than actual food.

store only had 3 cans left and did not know when they would get more. Also, did not have the royal canin cat treats and again, they had no idea if they would get this in.

Yes, I recommend this product.

We had to rush to the hospital with blood in urine and sever pain when in the litter box and it turned out my kitty has developed stones. New diet started resolving pain from following day and I am hopeful that stones will be gone by our next hospital visit. I am very happy with this product that my cat loves and what helps him back to good health.

Yes, I recommend this product.

There seems to be a different formula in the urinary SO. My cat doesn’t like it as well as the previous formula. This new case is more watery than the previous purchases. Please change back! Thanks!

Answer to my issues

Since my male cat Waldo has been the urinary food within a day he stopped peeing outside the litter box and he loves it. My female cat loves it as well and the vet said it was ok for her to eat it as well.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Royal Canin Feline Urinary SO Mod Calorie Morsels

Neither of my cats that need this product will eat it. My third little cat who will eat just about anything you put in front of her also does not like it. The Renal slices in gravy were much better liked. Perhaps the texture of this Urinary formula is the issue as the product does not seem that different. The slight difference in fat content should not really affect it’s acceptance.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Is this a pate consistency

  1. No, it is small chunks in light gravy.

I do not understand the feed guide. My cat is 17lbs, according to the guide I need to give my cat 5.5 cans a day?! That's about $11 a day, $330 a month for one cat and I have two. RIDICULOUS. Someone please tell me the guide is wrong or I'm reading wrong

  1. For feeding amount recommendations please reach out to our Consumer Care team at 800-592-6687

New to this line of food . . . does "moderate calorie" mean it has less calories or more calories than this same food that doesn't state anything about calories (Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Feline Urinary SO Morsels In Gravy Wet Cat Food)?

  1. The Urinary SO Moderate Calorie will be lower in calories and fat as compared to the Urinary SO
