Hi. My old dog has been eating Royal Canin mobility c2p as he has some arthritis. He is not a greedy dog but will almost always finish up his food. Lately he hasn't been eating well. Nibbling on his food and leaving half. I have tried him on Hills i/d for a spell and a few other brands with the same result. I put him on a store bought frozen food which he is now eating with gusto. Do you think it would be ok for me to feed him this as long as he wants it. He had a dental about 2 months ago
Looking for a recommendation for a good quality senior dog food that will support weight gain and healthy digestion
My 2 yo Lab/Ridgeback is 86 lbs yes overweight and has a urine ph of 5. I have her on grain free Taste of the Wild venison/buffalo 2.5 cups daily. Without spending $80.00 for a 17 lb bag of Royal Canin So , what dry food or treatments might you recommend for Rylee?
Vet suspects mild cruciate ligament damage in both hind legs. Suggested mobility diet & cosequin supplements. I switched to Science Diet Mobility & give cosequin daily per instructions on bottle. Also give Science Diet Flexi Stix Jerky with glucosamine & chondroitin, Zuke's Mobility Chews, & Pet Botanics Omega Plus treats. Also feeding Milkbone Brushing Chews. Anything else I could be doing? I asked about specific exercises but vet didn't give any. Would like to avoid surgery if possible.
My dog has hip dysplasia. I would like to start him with supplement but HD or Joint supplement in my country is limited. Any feedback on Advanced Cetym M as I would like to try it. Also how much of fish oil should I give him? He is 19kg (41 lbs) but he's on Hill's Diet Weight Reduction canned food as he just has a perineal surgery and the vet suggested to cut his weight to 15kg. Thank you and hope to hear from you soon.
I have a Bernese Mountain dog who weighs 94 pounds. He's 4 yrs old and doesn't like to run and play. I am looking for a weight management food which will help reduce his weight without drying his skin.. I've tried a couple of weight management brands in the past but it dried out his skin and caused itching and dandruff. Please help. Thank you!
I have an 8 yr old obese lab that is having a bit of trouble getting up after lying down & is gimpy for a bit afterward. I know the stiffness has a bit to do w/ his weight (125 lbs). But he also has TERRIBLE skin allergies that make him itch HORRIBLY! I believe he also has food allergies too... What large breed food/supplements (brand suggestions & formulas pls!) should I be giving him to help him lose weight, help his SEVERE skin & food allergies & his joint problems as he ages even further?
Royal Canin or Farmina Low Grain/Grain Free for an adult Rottweiler, and why?
Best dog food for senior German shepherd
My dog is one and a half years old, he is 85lbs and had been diagnosed with hip dysplasia. Can you recommend good reputable joint supplements and/ or exercises for this?
Hi! Bianca has severe hip dysplasia and was recommended Royal Canin Mobility JS. She currently eats raw and I was always against kibble, especially RC ones because the ingredients makes no sense compared to something like Orijen. Is Royal Canin really that good? It's always recommended by all the vets. But how can it be good with such weird ingredients? Isn't it best for dog to eat as natural as possible?
My miniature schnauzer is 14 years old. We have tried 2 different dry foods for her and she is still not losing weight. She weighs 28 lbs. We are currently feeding her Royal Canin for miniature schnauzers. We had tried Natures Choice pumpkin flavor with veggies. Help what can we feed her?
