My cat has been to the vet twice for vomiting. It is most likely that she has IBD. The vet has prescribed Royal Canin Selected Protein Duck, but kitty wont eat it. I found Natural Balance Limited Ingredient Diet Duck and Green Pea, which she likes better. Is this food a good alternative to Royal Canin? I just want her to eat. She keeps losing weight
my cat has a sensetive stomach and the vet put him on royal canim adult pd diet.. 1 is duck and other rabbit . would like to know if there is a fish food i can get for him....thamk you
Our 1 1/2 year old female ragdoll feline started loosing patches of fur for last 2 weeks. No scabs/raw spots on skin. Vetinarian concludes not fleas or ringworm. No known environmental changes or new house products. Now starting Royal Canin Hydrolyzed Protein Adult HP for 2-3 weeks in case it's food allergies. It's $50 for 7.7 lbs. Is there a less expensive equivalent Purina or other brand?? Thanks from Florida.
My 2 yo Lab/Ridgeback is 86 lbs yes overweight and has a urine ph of 5. I have her on grain free Taste of the Wild venison/buffalo 2.5 cups daily. Without spending $80.00 for a 17 lb bag of Royal Canin So , what dry food or treatments might you recommend for Rylee?
My male cat is almost 14. I know he is starting kidney problems due to the extra water he drinks at this point. and a bit thinner. lots of energy still. I read they need at least 50% protein, I give him wet and dry which i know is not good, but lots of wet and freeze dried chicken too, vit with dig enzymes. Can you suggest the best Wet high protein food and anything else from Petco?
My vet diagnosed my 11 year old cat with IBD and put her on a RX diet of Royal Canine Select Protein and a steroid cream. I have 2 other cats and feeding them all the Royal Canine is out of my budget, and I haven't had much luck feeding them separately. I was comparing ingredients between the Royal Canine and Natural Balance Limited Ingredient Diet cat food and they appear to be almost identical. I ultimately will do whatever is best for Ethel, I just wanted to know if Natural Balance would work
Hi my trixie has eaten Royal Canin Rx wet & dry diet selected protein rabbit pea for many years for irritable bowel. Lately she’s seemed tired of it, not wanting it my vet has examined her & done blooodwork and found nothing. I’ve even tried switching to the duck and pea and she likes for a few days-then loses interest. My vet suggests trying hills Rx z/d for food sensitivities but I’m so afraid to switch from the Royal Canin selected proteins Any advice on if this may be a smart switch ? Thx
DRY FOOD RECOMMENDATION for 2 health Issues: Raised skin-scab bumps and past history with crystals in urine; Royal Canin, Hills or Purina? Presently I am using a Grain Free, Holistic Limited Ingredient dog food.
Hi Trixie has eaten wet Rx Royal Canin rabbit pea selected protein for many years due to IBS. Recently my vet gave me a can of duck pea to try because she has seemed to grow tired of rabbit. She told me to offer her both and let her choose. trixie is mainly Choosing duck but is still taking a few bites from the rabbit pea bowl too. If it doesn’t irritate her IBS can she have both ? Is It ok to mix? She also still likes her rabbit pea dry food. Thanks!!
My 15 yr old Maine Coon cat is beginning to have a little kidney “aging” according to my vet. “His kidney numbers were a little off - not bad”. He suggested a prescription food - KD - my cat will NOT eat it - 4 days now. He had been on Putin’s Pro Plan - prime plus - which he loved! Can you recommend a dry food with less protein and potassium. - which my vet says hinders the kidneys. Thank you in advance.
Can you please recommend a diet for a cat with Feline pancreatitis, currently feeding Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Feline Sensitivity Control Wet food. He only eats wet food.
I feed my cat Hill's Prescription Diet k/d Early Support Chicken Canned Cat Food, and order it from chewy.com, but the are out of stock and vet doesn't carry it. She has only 10 cans left. Is there any other place to get this food quickly?
