I had no ideal chicken can cause her functions to get high...so I Changed her to Royal Canin exclusive Renal in a can its its like thick Pate' so I add water to soften it up! she eats it now but has not poops day 2. I'm worried now
which wet dog food is the best for my dog with an enlarged heart
Sr. cat with stage 2 renal failure. She struggles with constipation, inadequate water drinking, arthritis, toothless, cataracts, and deafnesss. She is on Royal Canin kidney recipe as the most tolerable of choices to-date (really didn't care for Hill Science version). Have been mixing with fancy feast kitty or adult pate, laxative and Cosequin. Recently found Delectables bisques to add instead of fancy feast. She seems to like well & I can add water, upping her intake. Ash content concern.
Kidney disease dog on renal support diet, she eats only 1 cup twice a day along with her meds and is gaining so much weight. is it diet?
What would be the best wet dog food for her weighing 3.3 lbs. 4 years and has Periodontal desease? And can I purchase at Petco or Petsmart? Thank you
My 2 yo Lab/Ridgeback is 86 lbs yes overweight and has a urine ph of 5. I have her on grain free Taste of the Wild venison/buffalo 2.5 cups daily. Without spending $80.00 for a 17 lb bag of Royal Canin So , what dry food or treatments might you recommend for Rylee?
Hi I was speaking with one of your vets before about senior diet cat foods that are less stressful on the kidneys. Suggestions were purina pro plan 11+, hills science 11+ & royal canin aging 12+, all canned. He wasn't crazy about these but seems to like hills science diet mature 7+ savory chicken minced canned entree. It says its also lower in phosphorus but would love someone's opinion or experience with this food. Thx!!
cheap dog food that helps dogs liver
Which royal canin good for sandy
Is Purina Proplan wet food ok for my cat, he has stage 2 kidney disease and pancreatitis?
My dog has been diagnosed with early stages of kidney failure. My vet has recommended that we put him on a low protien eating diet with Kibble - Brand Royal Canin Renal Support. I've researched online that the best thing to do is to give him high quality protein (low in phosphorus) and a natural home made diet. Should I go low protein (kibble) or high quality protein for his diet?
Vet says possible early kidney failure. My dog's creatinine level is high 1.7. Vet says feed low fat 10% or less, medium protein not more than 20%. I'm confused as I eliminated Nature's Recipe dry kibble for kidney health and now feed the Nature's Recipe canned which is min 4% fat and min.protein 8%. Is she getting enough protein in diet with the change from dry to wet food?
