Royal Canin Satiety Dog Treats are part of a vet-recommended weight loss program. The exclusive S/O Index promotes a urinary environment unfavorable to the development of struvite and calcium oxalate crystals, while targeted nutrients support bones & joints placed under stress by excess body weight. (Treats should only make up 10% of your dog's daily calorie intake; always consult your vet first).

My 2 yo Lab/Ridgeback is 86 lbs yes overweight and has a urine ph of 5. I have her on grain free Taste of the Wild venison/buffalo 2.5 cups daily. Without spending $80.00 for a 17 lb bag of Royal Canin So , what dry food or treatments might you recommend for Rylee?
I would like a recommendation as what kind os small bite dry dog food to feed him to help promote weight loss and how much daily. His current weight is 22 lbs which I know is to much. Rico the daschund
Our dog is heavy! You know fat. Which science diet food is good for heavyweight dogs to lose weight. She’s 8 yr old beagle/terrier/rescue dog. No table scraps but she loves to eat. Thanks
Would you please recommend OTC dog food for weight loss? Scribbles has always struggled with her weight. She weighs 9.2lbs. We tried prescribed food, unfortunately she tends to vomit. We've tried a few from pet stores, no luck. Perhaps we're part of the problem too. I give her treats (when she goes potty on pee pads. She's been a mopey dog ever since she was spayed years ago. It's like it took her puppy/doglife away. Very sad.... Any recommendations would be helpful and appreciated. Karrey
Which royal canin good for sandy
My (very tall and muscular!!) Miniature Schnauzer needs to lose about 3 pounds. Prescription Royal Canin didn't carry enough sustanance for him, so he was constantly hungry. I got him on ProPlan weight control kibble, but I'm always concerned with his micronutrients. He got a bought of pancreatitis once, so crude fat must be low. How do you feel about these fresh dog foods? Better than kibble? Or not, so due to the moisture percentage?
My miniature schnauzer is 14 years old. We have tried 2 different dry foods for her and she is still not losing weight. She weighs 28 lbs. We are currently feeding her Royal Canin for miniature schnauzers. We had tried Natures Choice pumpkin flavor with veggies. Help what can we feed her?
BEST DOG FOOD FOR LOSEING WEIGHT
I’m trying to figure out treats for my pup. He was just put on a hypoallergenic diet, and while we have the food angle covered, I’m trying to sort out treats and chews. He’s used to having Nylabone Nubz and Busy Bones, so I’m trying to find something similar to them. I’m also trying to make sure he doesn’t lose any weight as a result of his new diet. He’s 85 pounds, and a perfect body condition, so losing weight would be problematic. Do you have any suggestions??
My Chiweenie is overweight (31 lbs). The vet says he should be no more than 22-24 lbs. I have been trying to get his weight down for some time, but every time the vet weighs him, he's a little heavier!! I have been trying to increase our walks and decrease his treats and overall amount of food. I have been giving him Beneful weight management dry food. I'm looking for weight loss tips, including dry and wet food. I can't afford anything really expensive as I've been out of work.
Is there an otc dog food/ natural alternative to a urinary so? My dog is 10 is now 5lbs over weight and thinks she's starving 24/7. She begs for food almost all day long. She has had UtI's and then bladder stones as a result but seems to be fine on the Urinary SO besides the fact that she is now a 27 lb shitzu with knee problems. I walk her 1 to 1.5 hrs a day (2 walks) which is all her knees can handle. I need to get some weight off. What are my options? I can't decrease her food servings.
My dog is overweight. What can we do to help him lose weight safely? Are there any foods, treats or products you recommend for weight loss?
