Royal Canin Satiety Dog Treats are part of a vet-recommended weight loss program. The exclusive S/O Index promotes a urinary environment unfavorable to the development of struvite and calcium oxalate crystals, while targeted nutrients support bones & joints placed under stress by excess body weight. (Treats should only make up 10% of your dog's daily calorie intake; always consult your vet first).

If it does not, this will delay your order. Prescriptions will be kept on file for a year from date issued. My 2 yo Lab/Ridgeback is 86 lbs yes overweight and has a urine ph of 5. I have her on grain free Taste of the Wild venison/buffalo 2.5 cups daily. Without spending $80.00 for a 17 lb bag of Royal Canin So , what dry food or treatments might you recommend for Rylee?
Our dog is heavy! You know fat. Which science diet food is good for heavyweight dogs to lose weight. She’s 8 yr old beagle/terrier/rescue dog. No table scraps but she loves to eat. Thanks
I am using royal canin satiety weight management for my labrador who is a bit more in weight. I have another country dog which is quite fit and doesnot need weight loss. Can I give her the same food (royal canin satiety) or should I go for some other food ?
My (very tall and muscular!!) Miniature Schnauzer needs to lose about 3 pounds. Prescription Royal Canin didn't carry enough sustanance for him, so he was constantly hungry. I got him on ProPlan weight control kibble, but I'm always concerned with his micronutrients. He got a bought of pancreatitis once, so crude fat must be low. How do you feel about these fresh dog foods? Better than kibble? Or not, so due to the moisture percentage?
My miniature schnauzer is 14 years old. We have tried 2 different dry foods for her and she is still not losing weight. She weighs 28 lbs. We are currently feeding her Royal Canin for miniature schnauzers. We had tried Natures Choice pumpkin flavor with veggies. Help what can we feed her?
BEST DOG FOOD FOR LOSEING WEIGHT
My Chiweenie is overweight (31 lbs). The vet says he should be no more than 22-24 lbs. I have been trying to get his weight down for some time, but every time the vet weighs him, he's a little heavier!! I have been trying to increase our walks and decrease his treats and overall amount of food. I have been giving him Beneful weight management dry food. I'm looking for weight loss tips, including dry and wet food. I can't afford anything really expensive as I've been out of work.
My vet Recommend Hill’s prescription diet for for 14lb dog who is overweight. Is there another more affordable option for her ?
My 13 yr old male Shih Tzu weight is at 28.6 lbs. What diet food would you reccomend I put him on? Tnx
My dog is overweight & has been eating Blue Turkey & Potato Diet. My vet said to cut his intake from 3/4 cup a day to 1/2 cup & to supplement with green beans or rice cakes. After following this for about a year, he has not lost an ounce! The vet saidto cut his food back more. He is not very active & I cannot entice him to be more active. I am concerned that he is not getting enough nutrition from the small amount of dog food he gets & what is better for weight loss, low fat or calories?
Sydney is overweight at 62 lbs. What wet dog food is the best for management. How can I make comparison of different brands when shopping. Trying Purina focus w/m now.
How can I make my dog eat his food!? He needs to gain weight and fast! I’ve tried wetting the kibble and mixing with wet food and warming it EVERYTHING this is his fourth switch of dog food cause of food allergies and he just won’t eat and he’s going to get even thinner and he is 20 pounds and maybe more under. He will only eat a little and he went to the vet for a checkup and they said he was fine! He’s on Royal Canin Giant Breed Puppy Food now.Hes half Newfie and should be 80 not 61lbs
