Unlike trimmers for human hair, dog clippers are specifically designed to get through your pup’s thick fur. You’ll also find replacement blades, as well as cooling and lubricating sprays to reduce friction and keep your dog clippers in tip-top shape. Hello! I'm looking for an inexpensive set of clippers for Mia. She has, what seems like, a double coat of hair now and since I don't have the means to take her to a groomer right now, I want to give her a nice trim since it's getting warmer, and because I want to be able to see any potential bugs that try to go on her. Any suggestions? That is her right now. Thank you in advance! Stay safe and healthy!
What would be the best tools for grooming a short haired dog (Amstaff)?

My dogs coat looks nibbled like it's been trimmed with a razor
I have been reading your tip on how to get your dog to have their claws cut without any problems. Part of the advice is to let your dog get used to the buzzing of the clippers on the dogs paw. I've never seen any clippers that buzz when cutting the claws as the only ones that buzz are for cutting the fur. As far as I know the nail cutting is done with something like scissors that has a part you can use to make sure you don't cut them too close to the quick of the claws.
I live in India and it's summer now. I wanted to trim Jessi's hair but we don't have good groomers in the locality and I don't want to put her in anaesthesia just for a hair cut. Will she be ok if i don't cut her hair??
My minature poodle came from a neglected home, while I was trimming her paws I thought thier was fleas in a ball VB but it's dog nails all over, they are coming up everywhere I seem to trim help!!I have pictures

What is a safe hair gel for my dog
Have a spunky new rescue chihuahua mix and she is skittish. So much so she will resist any efforts to trim her nails. We have 4 dogs so I have trimmed nails hundreds of times--but with Ricki Ricardo, no luck. I sit on the floor and flip them over and cradle them between my legs. My wife distracts them with peanut butter on a spoon. Besides going to a groomer or vet, any ideas? I thought maybe a groomer table might help. Are there premium nail cutters of higher quality than store bought?
