Prior to clipping, make sure your pet has been bathed, dried, and brushed to allow the clipper to glide smoothly through the coat. Place a few drops of lubricating oil on the teeth of the blade before clipping to help maintain the blade and keep it cool. TO REMOVE BLADE SET Hold the front part of the clipper with your thumb pressing on the blade and place another hand against the blade. When pressing the blade forward, the blade is detached. TO REPLACE BLADE SET, Set the taper control button to lowest position, #1. Place the blade onto the clipper body by inserting the blade tongue down below the lock tap. Snap the blade down into position. The blade is now fixed onto the clipper body.

I love this kit!!! My pup is very finicky and wont stand for loud and buzzy sounds while being groomed and this is gentle and easy to use!!! All the attachments are perfect for entire grooming for my malti-poodle ; ) !!!

Sturdy, well powered and easy to use grooming kit for your pets. My dog appears to enjoy his grooming when I use the ConairPro because of the smooth movement of the cutting head. He's a small finicky dog who won't sit still for much, but he is co-operative when I use the ConairPro.

Has anyone tried using this on a thick fur coated cat?

I have a small dog, will this clipper set be able to be used to do full grooming job over all of my dogs body? Example clippers will cut fur on any and all places like off her back without getting stuck in her fur.

I also have a small dog and use it on her. It works well, but it's very important to bathe, dry, and comb out prior to clipping, using any clipper style or brand, to eliminate them from getting stuck in their fur.

I want to know if they get hot. I have some old electric clippers we used for our poodle, but they get hot after about 10 minutes and my cats say "no-way am I putting up with this"! Does anyone have a suggestion on some that don't and relatively cheap.
