This Clipper is horrible it gets extremely hot only after a minute or two of operation even after being oiled and this was its first use out of the box. I was burning my poor baby shame on you Andis for selling dangerous products!!! I will return to store for a refund.

I am currently using this in the grooming salon and I must say this is the best clipper Andis has come out with in years. I love the fact that I can use it with or without the cord, and it is fast and quiet. The only down side I see is it gets hot fast but I can switch blades and continue grooming so it really isn't a problem. I do wish it had a loop or a place to add a loop so I could hang it from my table or add a wrist loop to prevent it from being dropped.

I have a Goldendoodle and this clipper works great! The blade heats up quite a bit but I'll probably just order another blade next time so I can switch between them. Its definitely worth the investment since it will only take a few times of grooming at home to equal the cost to take your dog to the groomer.
