Not for Golden Doodles

A bit disappointed it did not work for my golden doodle. Though it does say it is good for all coats, the clippers just did not do the good job. I even used the blade directly and was still struggling to cut the hair. Had an easier time just using scissors.

I paid for same day delivery - What I received was horrendous. Attachments were in ziplock bags, the clippers themselves were completely rusted, almost caking off and other dog hair was stuck in it.

I guess I'm having a hard time finding clippers that you can use on the whole body that aren't 100s of dollars. These were slowing down dramatically in 15 minutes, sounded like they are dying. Meanwhile my 12-year-old clippers can still manage to get the job done. These probably work fine for trims and touchups (but not full body shaving a 50lb Standard Poodle). I liked that my other andis blades worked on this clipper so that's why 3 stars. But I am still returning.

Just bought these today. They started off great on my golden doodle. After about 15 minutes they slowed down a bit. I took the blade off and cleaned it and put some oil on it. Didn't help. 10 minutes later and they shut off altogether. I left them unplugged for about an hour and turned them back on. Ran for a minute and died. Returning tomorrow.

Couldn't cut spaniel fur at all

I've had another Andis that was half this price for the past 5 years, and it's cut my cocker spaniel mix very well. This new one is supposedly good for spaniels, but couldn't cut my dogs fur at all. Will be returning this product.

These are wonderful. I have always struggled finding clippers that work with my Lhasa’s hair, they always over heat or can’t cut her hair, but these did amazing. I wish I would have found these sooner.

    I have had no problem with my grooming tool. I don't believe you are supposed to use it unless you have an attachment on the blade. (One of the various sizes of comb attachments)

Would these clippers work for a mini golden doodle.  How are they around the face and legs?

    Is it possible to get different hair lengths with just the #10 blade or do I need to purchase a #7 blade, etc. for different lengths? Also, will any Andis blade fit the Andis Easy Clip Groom Clipper?

      I'm not a professional groomer but I purchased the Andis clippers in a kit with plastic combs to save money since I have 3 shiz tzu. The #10 blade and plastic combs can give you any length desire. But if you only purchased the clippers by itself, then you can either buy the individual blades (to get the desire length) or purchase the plastic combs. Either will work. Just a warning, if you buy ceramic blades be very gentle - the break and are somewhat expensive, (my lesson learned). Cheers

    'Blades are detachable for ease of changing'. How? Had a pair of clippers where the head snapped off on the coat. I prefer a head that is secured. I don't mind having to use a screw driver to change the blade. How is the blade on the clippers, please?

          I have a small breed Shi tzu. His hair is about 3 inch long. Can i trim only 1 inch or 1/2 inch off? Can i use the trimmer for touch ups?

            The trimmer is great for touch ups. There are several different length options so you'd be able to trim 1/2 - 1 inches off without a problem.
