Sharp blades don’t heat up quickly like dull blades. Went right through my Standard Poodle’s coat like cutting butter.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Good Blade for Trimming

I used this blade on my dog's back and around his ears. It worked well. Having two blades (one came with my clippers) meant that I could swap them out and not need to go so short on his back with the 10 blade. It also allowed the other blade to cool off while I kept working on the haircut.

No, I do not recommend this product.

I have andis #10. What size do I use to do puppy/teddy bear cut?

  1. Do not use a 10 blade for a cut , this is used for pads , potty patch and to scoop out the eyes , it will make your baby bald

If I'm using a depth gauge on my Andis clipper, a #10 head and I'm struggling to get a cut with his dense matted hair should I use a slip tooth blade. I don't want to skin him I want to reduce length. Australian Shepherd double coat

  1. I had to do short strokes and cut below the matted hair. Unfortunately if I can’t brush it out I need to cut it out and let it regrow.

What is the best blade to use on a very matted lasa pooh.

  1. I would try this blade which still leaves a little hair. a 10 blade. But if mats are really close to skin you may have a better time with a 10 blade

I have a Golden Doodles. What size should I get? #10 is too short. THX!

  1. I am a groomer. I use a 5 blade. On most of them.

What size blade would I use for Havanese puppies? Thank you

  1. It all depends on how short you want it. A 7 is the second to the shortest.

I have a schnauzer poodle mix and want a more professional cut .. #10 too close. What is the next size I should buy

  1. #7FC will give you a beautiful short cut. it is the same length most groomers use on schnauzers

What size blade do you use to slightly trim a golden retriever. I have a #10 and it trims to close

  1. I would try a 3 3/4 FC blade. Make sure to brush the dog out well before clipping.
