What is the dimension of the side to side where the cup has to fit through the opening in the cage? Could also be worded as what is the size of this cup across the front where the opening is. Previous answers unclear which direction is which number.
- The cup is 3 3/8" wide. So to put it another way, the door or cage opening needs to be at least 3 3/8" wide, but no larger than 4 1/16" wide or the cup could be inserted all the way through the opening.

- always wash the cup by hand when I clean the cage, don't own a dishwasher, so have no idea!

I'm worried that my parakeets heads could get stuck while trying to get the food or water, is this possible?
- our parakeets take baths in their covered water container. They love it! They don't get stuck.

I was wondering what are some ways to keep a Conure warm in the winter? I have some tents in my birds cage and recently found out to keep the heat in my house 68 degrees and up. I also use a cage cover at night. Is there anything else I should be doing? He loves to use the kitchen faucet to bathe as well and sometimes gets himself pretty wet. Is that ok if he continues to do that during the winter? He loves to bathe.

I had a pair of zebra finches in a closed cage. I had it for 4 days. The birds are in my terrace. All night I close the cage with a bedsheet. The 5th day morning when I removed the bedsheet only one Finch was there. The cage was fully closed. But the male Finch's feathers was outside. What can eat a Finch. I also have some love birds.
