My Amazon Bandit needs a larger cage. I am hesitant to purchase a new cage as the one he has is too small. Descriptions do not indicate the spacing of the bats. Additionally there are no toys in cages to help identify which cage is best. I inherited Bandit and he throws pellets out of feed dish and doesn't seem to care for food that came with him. My cat injured a Bird, i found it in my garage up top a shelf just sitting there . I placed water and birdseed right next to him and let him be. Any other advice ? Shall I put him in a box overnight so he feels safer ? Most of his feathers are gone on his body but all his Wing feathers are still there . Help
I will be transporting my 8 cats to another location 30 minutes away. I do not have enough cat carriers for my move, so I decided to make some cat carriers by drilling 14 holes, each 2 inches in diameter, through Sterilite storage bins. My question is, do the holes need to be smaller than 2 inches? I do not want any of my cats getting their heads stuck in a hole. Also, do you think this method of transport is ok for the cats? These guys are my life & I dont want any harm coming to them.
I had a pair of zebra finches in a closed cage. I had it for 4 days. The birds are in my terrace. All night I close the cage with a bedsheet. The 5th day morning when I removed the bedsheet only one Finch was there. The cage was fully closed. But the male Finch's feathers was outside. What can eat a Finch. I also have some love birds. How can I stop predators eating my birds.
